Well hell's bells. Since I always confuse hers and yours, I missed it, too. Happy Birthday, Laurie! Is it a coincidence or something else that I had a dream that you and I were out on the town together last night?

Thank you, Dinah! How sweet!!

I kind of wish *I* could have missed this birthday, though. Something about crossing over to my late thirties is bothering me.

Oh well...at least it's kind of amusing that N knows I'm exactly thirty years older than him and since he just turned six, he's finding it necessary to tell everyone he knows that it means I'm thirty-six. ;) (I can't believe he's six!)

I appreciate the birthday wishes even belated. Who says you can't celebrate your birthday all week anyway? :)

Thanks!

Laurie

Hell's bells...my dad used to say that sometimes. :)

It is NOT a coincidence that you had a dream about me the other night. Doesn't everyone who knows me dream about me all the time? Well, except for the rare occasion they have a racy dream about KK, of course.

Did we go somewhere fun?

Thanks for the birthday message, gg! I hope you're doing well.

Well then you're ten years younger than I am. :)

So you can't be all that old, right?

Although I'm telling everyone I'm fortyeight, so that I won't be surprised when I turn fifty.

I hearby give you permission to celebrate all week, and even all month. Such a birthday deserves a long period of celebration.

No Dear. It means you're dyslexic.

Now take your AARP card down to the Wallmart and get your Senior's discount on one of those spiffy house dresses your generation is so fond of. Be sure and post a birthday pic of you in your anklets and Moo Moo showing off that beautiful head of blue hair. Hope you had a STUPENDOUS!!! B-day.

Peace Out

The babbler who remembers everyones birthday ... and we forgot yours ... that makes me sad. I'm so glad Dinah knew when it was.

Happy Birthday! Did you do anything fun and delicious? What kind of cake? (I know of a nice grocery store to buy lovely cakes with lots of frosting).

Happy Belated Birthday!

keep on celebrating!

both my nieces, who have been away for a month, are celebrating this coming up week! one is turning six. i'll tell her about yours, that way you'll have 2 six yera olds running aroudn talking about 'a lady who is exactly 30 years older than them' :)

i hope you're behaving woman! you know i always am! i hope you had lots of alcohol, shopping trips, breakfasts in bed (but not before noon of course!), and most importantly, kisses from the 2 most important 'men' in your life!

Does that mean I should say I'm thirty-eight? I thought I was supposed to start counting backwards at some point. How many times will you have to turn fifty, then? Does it mean years of parties? :)

Thanks, Dinah!

I may be dyslexic, but at least I'm still only half your age.

It means a lot to me that you got off your rocking chair and even learned how to use this spiffy new internet thing to wish me a happy birthday! Did your great-grandkids show you how?

Thanks, kid! It's nice to hear from you. :)

I had no cake this year. What's up with that? I think I need to pay that grocery store another visit...as long as some crazy person doesn't go and mess up all the frosting on the cake, of course.

Thanks for the birthday wishes, Annierose!

Hugs,
Laurie

I've been seriously lacking in all of these things besides the kisses. Maybe you could bring me a gin martini in bed one morning and then we'll head out to the store for some amazing shoe shopping.

You're never too late to matter!! The last thing I was on time for was my birth day. In fact, I was three weeks early. Just what was I thinking? The day I was supposed to be born was July 3rd. Hmm...I think that's close to someone else's birthday. I can't remember who, though.

Thanks, kk! Lots of love and hugs to you and the duckie. :)

Laurie

Thanks, Phillipa!! (nm)
