How my first day working went

Posted by Deneb on June 5, 2008, at 0:28:30

Today was the first day I monitored actual people.

The day started off really badly. I couldn't get my password to work and IT had to be called and everything. It was a hassle.

The I was extremely confused about what to do. The others seem to do just fine while I was having trouble knowing what to do on the computer. I though, they are going to regret having hired me! I thought I must be stupid or something.

Then as the night went on, I got more comfortable with the programs.

I was still very inefficient, but I was figuring things out.

I found out that I really enjoy my new job. I actually had fun doing it.

I'm going to try to be the best.

I have no appetite and I haven't been getting much sleep lately. I enjoy my job though.

I worry they hired the wrong person. I'm not picking up things as quickly as I would have liked.

I'm glad I work 4 days instead of 5. I have a 3 day weekend.

Maybe I'll lose some weight with all this stress.

I don't want to go to bed. Too bad everyone is sleeping.
