grrrr! to everything.

das ende

i really can't stand frustration. it's my worst emotion (is it an emotion? i don't care. you'd think with 30k in student loan debt i'd have learned the five (Are there 5?) emotions, but apparently not...

anywhooo... GROAN, grrr, snort, and every other noise that can come out of my mouth, while still remaining civil.

oh, but i did download some new music :) thanks for the inspiration tc! if you still need help being a pirate, i can tell you how. but i msut warn you, most times i burn ships down and can't find the bootey (did i spell that right? again, maybe i should have taken a f*ck*ng spelling class...)

grrrrrrr.. back to figuring out debts and attempting to screw the gov't. :)

That's a fairly hefty student loan you have there.

You must know stuff.

Are they close to getting it back?

What about teaching me German?

Quiro ir a Bolivia por apprendar espanol y (I was going to say) escape this stupid world, but unfortunately my dog just vomited on the carpet.

will you pay me 30k to teach you... » Sigismund

the worst german in the world? seriously, my prof would grimace when i spoke it. i did a disservice to the country by attempting to learn it's language.

i'd be more likely to teach you to use a steady cam. or maybe the psychology of sexual behavior (hey, this is getting FUN!!!). i did manage to learn the legal age of consent, but that's about all i learned.

what about film genres? or man, oh man, i took an awful lot of english courses (notice my superb grammer skills?).

and luckily, i've managed to avoid the student loan department, up until now. i guess since they caught up with me, i should try to do paperwork so i can continue to nonpay them, right? :)

maybe i should have taken jsut a few more psych classes, just to figure out how i manage to deny and avoid things, you think?

but man, oh man, i've got them people skills :) does that pay anything?

and shout (you know, the laundry stuff) is a wonder for getting vomit, blood (don't ask!!!), and about any other substance off the carpet!

just did mine..... grrrrrrrrrrr

double triple grrrr......

I wonder, with that tax incentive thing where everyone in the country gets 600 dollars, can we just pay 600 dollars less on our taxes?

Seems right to me.

What do you think?

Seldom.

If they did that, it would deprive politicians of the opportunity to send you a check along with a letter reminding you that they're doing you such a great favor. (In any event, the $600 is just borrowing money for our grandchildren to pay interest on... remember when the US briefly had balanced budgets? Ah, those were the days...)

So just shaving it off your taxes would defeat the true purpose of showering borrowed dollars on the electorate. And never mind the talk about economic stimulus; most people will pay down their existing debt, not binge on new spending. If the true purpose were to stimulate the economy the money would have been directed either toward folks below the poverty line (whether or not they owed taxes) since they have no choice but to spend it or directly on some worthy program sure to create jobs. (I know one physicist who suggested, with no expectation of anything like this happening, that the government should just give every practicing physicist in academia $1 million to spend on their research; certainly the experimental physicists would all spend the money very quickly and on things that create better jobs than burger flipping...) Seems to me we could use that money to boost alternative energy research - or perhaps on big tax incentives to switch to cleaner energy. Or as a friend of mine suggested, on schools.

So can I send in $600 less or not.

You can get $3,000 if you have a baby here.

And $50 for going back to school.

Not *everyone* can get the baby bonus.

It must be for the first baby, otherwise it would cost too much, surely?

You know how when there's not a scare about the population explosion there is a panic about the population decline?

Anyway, that's how this particular piece of policy came to be.

Nope. You are supposed to pay your full taxes, and they will send you whatever amount they calculate (it isn't a flat $600 per person). See http://www.irs.gov/newsroom/article/0,,id=180247,00.html

Also, you must file a return to receive a check, and this includes people who are not required to file a return but who would be eligible for a payment:

To receive an economic stimulus payment, people just need to file their tax returns as they usually do, said IRS Acting Commissioner Linda E. Stiff. The payments will be automatic for the vast majority of taxpayers. Some lower-income workers and recipients of certain Social Security and veterans benefits who dont normally need to file a tax return will need to do so in order to receive a stimulus payment."

I had an American friend who didn't have a teapot.

I was quite shocked.

Do you have a teapot?

The other day I let loose and had a double shot latte.

It worked, maybe too well, I liked the drink, though I'm not sure about the effect.

Tea no longer works on me.

Who organised these stimulants anyway?
