I think I was overtired or something.

I slept almost all day, and am feeling more like myself this evening.

I have been skimping on sleep lately. I need to work on that.

Thanks everyone.

Damn tired.

Hopefully this time I will stay away for long enough to get over that. Not just long enough to feel better.

Dinah, you have sacrificed a lot in order to make Psycho-Babble a better place. It's not worth it if you find it is destroying you. Put yourself first from now on.

sorta ditto to the above post, except I'm scared of the possibility that taking care of yourself might mean you wouldn't be 'here'....& I'm selfish! Wouldn't want that to happen.

I hope you have a nice break Dinah. I respect you enormously & send you my love,

hugs, Kath

Thanks everyone. I don't think I'd consider being Dinah to be destroying me.

Just that sometimes stress leads to I don't know what really. Some sort of chemical cascade or something. I tend to ignore the signs that I should stop and be still for a while. But at least it doesn't happen as often, and I'm getting better at stepping back once I do start to get flooded, or whatever. I really don't know what biological stuff is involved.

It's nothing new, it's a part of who I am and why I found Babble. I'll feel myself on firmer ground after a bit, I'm sure.
