i'm having a dog! *birthing pain triggers*

Posted by karen_kay on November 20, 2007, at 15:25:31

i'm dead serious!

the homeless woman can't cook to save her life! she made pancakes today. exactly 2 turned out. the others looked like chocolate chip mush. she told me she can only make cookies and when she marries she will go on maury with her husband and children and their hoverrounds. (she's making the cookies for thanksgiving!!!) i don't think she's ever going to marry!!! and if she does, they will all weigh 3000 pounds, hence the need for the hoverrounds (am i spelling that right? those things you ride on???)

on to other things... i was boiling water and dumped it on myself. yeah it hurt. but, i forgot about it and a few days later, i couldn't figure out why my skin was peelign off on my fingers. it's still peeling and i look like i'm involved in sopme sort of meth cooking gone bad.

speeking of bad hygene: was i? well i am now! i can't remember the last time i showered. it could have been halloween for all i know. i'm not depressed, just really apathetic! blechy, as my son would say! good thingi have some pretty potent perfume to cover ti up with :) and aqua net (ie: pure alcohol) to take the grease right out of my hair! and thank god for make up, for those days when i actually do make it out of the hosue (when are those days? ithink i'm a hermit! did i spell hermit right? is it with an i or e?)

more about my ongoing crap: my son is getting really grumpy lately. he likes to stick food in his mouth and not swallow it (is that normal?). i'm finding everything annoying at this point (that's really very normal for me!). i had a dream last night that my exboyfriend helped jumpstart my fourwheeler (maybe i was a threewheeler, i cna't remember, but i don't own either!). mister kk is on days now, due to a promotion at the 'terminator plant' (someone referred to it that way and it made me smile), but works a sh*t ton of hours and i only see him a few hours before he eats and goes to bed. i taught my son to point at people and say 'she did it' or 'he did it'. he gets his own diaper now, throws it away, and puts his own shoes up when we get home from places. i think it's time he changes his own diaper and brigns me breakfast in bed, don't you?

i had an idea to look into freelance work for local newspapers for a minute, but it was only an idea. i don't know how much of an idea it is, but i may as well be doing somethign while i'm doign nothing, you know?

well, that's the scoop, poop!

When our kid was really little we were changing his nappy (no diapers here) and we found this quite big stone in amongst it all.
It was smooth enough for us to think for a while that he had eaten it, until we figured that it was physiologically impossible and he had shoved it in the side.

That really has nothing to do with anything.

Nice to see you, KK.

that's a doozie! i'd convince myself that my duck had eaten the blasted thing. that i'd somehow let him out of my sight and he'd eaten the rock. and of course, he's at that age where eh sticks everything in his mouth. why do they do that anyway? if they're so smart, woudln't they know better than to stick yucky things like magnets and toys and bottles and things from the trash in their mouths?

what's a nappy anyway? is that like a cloth diaper that you wash?

i'm starting to get to teh point where when i see him with things in his mouthi simply say 'yucky' or 'blechy' and he takes it out of his mouth. and just yesterday, we went to the park (yeah, i got out a bit, but it's within walking distance!!!) and when it was tiem to go, he clawed at my face like damien from 'the omen' we wouldn't havehad to go so soon, except he tried to climb the barbed wire fence for the waste water entrance!!! he's gonna be a rat-fink! i can tell it already!

i'm suprised he's not smoking cigs and drinking beer at this point! (yeah, i'm not the best role model, but i do what i can, you know! and i haven't had a beer in quite a while, but he likes to play withthe bottles in the fridge for some odd reason. do you think he needs aa?)

i volunteered to make dinner for turkeyday, then calld eveyon and said "no way! noone's invited!' then called some people and reinvited them. now i'm stuck between a rock and a hard place :) i always enjoyed stayinghome and having family coming over for thanksgiving, soi'm no sure who's showign up at this point, but i do know i need to borrow pots and pans and i MUST shower! grrrrr! i was hoping i could set some sort of non-showering record, but that's down the drain now. and i'm even thinking of really going all the way and dressign up in heels (duh!) and wearing some sort of fancy dress, jsut to show everyone i'm not crazy and have not been for the past (however long)! how nuts is that???

ok, at this point, i'm just delaying doing things i should be doing, like gettign the kitchen in order, doing laundry, taking that blsted shower while damien, oops, i mean duckie, is sleeping :)

tootles declan! it was nice seeing you too! i really miss your b-mails, you know?!!!

i'm off to do something so i can procrastinate some more!

2 cheesecakes setting, a batch of cookies done, a big bird baking, and a whole list of others still to do!!!!

but that shower yesterday was the kickoff!!! this may be the best thanksgiving yet :) (though i still doubt anyone's going to show up! that might be even better!!!!)

am i still procrastinating? you betcha!

off to start on some noodles and keep a duck out of trouble,
kk

KK, I have been following your post about tday and laughing because I the crazy lady I am offered to have everyone at my house too and then preceed to make myself have panic attack after panic attack. My father likes to put me down. I did not clean the house or buy the turkey thinking then no one will come. Then one kind soul on Babble said she was serving turkey pot pies and I laughed and laughed thinking how funny would it be to serve those to my dad who complains about everything. Well that finally helped me get off my duff and clean and buy the turkey. I didn't make pies though I let the local bakery do that. My sister told me she just orders everything from Honeybaked Ham company who also does turkey, puts it on her plates and pretends to her inlaws she did it. LOL. Now maybe next year I do that or I serve turkey pot pies.....Hahhhhh. Now for xmas I will not have to have anyone over. So did you really go that long with out a shower.....LOL :) Was it a better shower waiting so long? LOL :)

And how was it and did anyone show? We need the lowdown? rk

and couldn't make it. halfway through cooking, i had to bring her the turkey drippings (is that what they're called? i don't know the first thing about gravy!!!) and watch her make the gravy. it was great at her place, but somehow in the drive home, it became runny and yucky at my house.

i got it all done. it was really good. was supposed to have dinner at around 2 and it was served about 5 (typical me) but i did wear a short skirt (typical me again). and my sister showed up!!! just my sister :) that's alright, i like it better that way anyway.

my son got to beat up on his 'cry-baby' niece (that one's his favorite to pick on anyway. she always cries!!!). his other niece got to pick on him (he loved that one and i think he tried to break her glasses).

i'm glad no other family members showed up! it was too late of a serving time for mister kk's family to come over, and they were having dinner there.

mister kk didn't wake up until 5 minutes before my sister arrived (he did stay up all night bakign cookies, doing dishes, and no doubt checking out what i had been doing on line all week long :) he heard about his 'lack of help' (even though he was very helpful!!!!) for the next few days. (i've been known to complain about a few things in my life, you know, especially when i'm burning my fingers up in the kitchen and he's sound asleep!!)

and yesterday we went to another 'thanksgiving' dinner and stuffed ourselves on pie, cheeseballs and family members. we're done for the year.

sounds like a regular holiday to me?

how'd yours go???

KK, mine wasn't great. My father is a not good person for me to be around. But that is a long story and thanks for asking. I am not doing so great now I am sorry. I won't be here anymore. Admin hurt my feelings big time so I will leave for now. I wish I had met you sooner. Take care, your Tday sounded fun though. Your son sounds like a fun one to be around. rk

RK, I hope that you aren't gone for long. Admin can be a tough place to hang out - it's a big trigger for me here. And I concur with your thoughts on thread direction.

Take care,

i forgot to mention that on the 'big dinner' with family members, i overheard my mother, yet again, say, 'kk needs to be turned into WHAT NOT TO WEAR' (guess my mother doesn't undestand short skirts are A OK!!!! until 35???? even though i sternly remind her every time she mentions it. jealous???? i think SO!!!!)

and man, oh man, that skirt is meant for summer time, when i can call myself britney, go sans underpants and carseat, and put the top down on my car :) (and yes, i told her and everyone in ear range so...)

my son tried to strangle a few dogs (hey, he's not around animals often!! he jsut wanted to carry them around!!!) and also tried to dance on coffee tables (ok, he gets that honest too!!!).

mister kk told me to 'slow down on the cheeseballs' to which i replied, 'lay off me, i'm starving!!!'

are you sure you don't want to stick around for more hun? and if you're male, i'll give you *special* attention :)

hang in there hun, i think it's holiday angst.... i know everyone in my house is feeling it :)

tkae care sweetie!!! and hope to see you very soon!!!
kk
