I just found a site called "KissThisGuy.com" which is an archive of misheard song lyrics.
I even found my very favorite: http://www.kissthisguy.com/lyric.php?id=318
Please not: the allegedly correct lyrics are, in fact, misheard...

We have a couple of books of them. There's a name for them from the book. My husband always remembers it and I always forget. Not coincidentally, I'm the one who also mishears the song lyrics and he's the one who uses the word in connection with correcting me. :)

Forgive my denseness but this site gives the correct lyrics of songs where you can't understand the words or am I totally off again? Love Phillipa

I love this site! I think it was one of the first places I found when I invented, I mean, when I first got connected to, the internet.
On a similar note,
I've been getting some interesting visual misinterpretations of words with my latest adventure in medication withdrawal. Makes reading magazines really fun, especially the ads! But I keep laughing when I try to read the ticker tapes on the news channels...Scratchie

"Blinded by the Light" - Manfred Man's Earth Band is the worse for me. I have alot of interesting takes on those lyrics.... most of which are unprintable here.
