i just love mondays!
i don't have to do a blasted thing.
upon waking, i have coffee waiting for me to sip (rather open my trap and hope most hits the back of my throat) at a slow pace. sometimes, i even have my sister babs to make it for me.
did i mention that monday is the BEST day of the week?
it's the first day of a new week. i don't have to change. i don't have to shower. i don't have to get the duckie out of bed (unless babs is being even more dense than i and smoking even more than i do. in that case she somehow can't hear a child screaming 'bawawawawawawawawa' at the top of his lungs. (and no, he doesn't scream for his mother for food. he's a(what's that word. it begins with a 'c' and sounds sorta like a cross between condom and throw a nun in there somewhere and maybe a drum...) but somehow, her smoking causes hearing loss. i think her smoking causes laziness...)
i LOVE mondays! i can sit outside all day long, playing in the grass or smoking (woah, that kinda looks like smoking grass, doesn't it? i AIN'T no hippie folks! not that there's anythign wrong with hippies ALLDONE, not to mention any names or anything) ciggies with the duckie (no, he's too young to smoke) but he loves sitting outside too....
i LOVE mondays. they are my very favorite day of the week!
i have time to catch up on missed emails, or missed cards, or missed bills (oopsie! better go by the water co... oh wait, they are only open on tuesday and thursday from 1 to 3. hmm, very convenient hours water company. appreciate that...) but still, tomorrow is monday, so i don't have to worry about paying the water bill!!!
yahoo! i LOVE monday.
and best of all, i don't have to worry about hearing a single person say 'uh oh, looks like someone has a case of the mondays!'
i love mondays!!!
anyone else love monday as much as i do? come on, just one good reason? you know you changed your underwear, so at least you don't have mudbutt! (see, that's a good reason!)

I love this particular Monday because I can catch up on a week's worth of reading babble. I've always liked Mondays, but hated Wednesdays. Friday nights used to be pretty depressing, but they don't bother me any more.
Thursday afternoons are quite lovely, too. For no reason at all except that they're there, every single week. You have a Thursday afternoon, and if it wasn't quite wonderful enough, if you wait another 7 days, it will happen again!
