Another Job Interview

Posted by Poet on March 8, 2007, at 16:22:55

Phone interview, next wednesday. I've had success with getting in person second interviews in the past, but no success in getting the job.

Again, it's in the field I am taking classes in (and was fired from, but that was not my fault!) and I know I can do anything they need me to. I know it, I hope she realizes it.

I need a job. I can't take much more of this.

I'll send positive thoughts to you and wise thoughts to your interviewer.

I wish I could send my job along with them.

I'm crossing my fingers and toes! You are doing a great job of getting interviews - that's hard in and of itself. Pats on the back!!

Keep us posted!

I'll be thinking of you.

Too bad you can't move down here. It's an employee's market right now.

The Universe is telling you that hope still abounds. I don't wish to wish you luck. I wish you faith.

Gave It My Best Shot

It only took 15 minutes which doesn't seem very good, but then again she only had a few questions. I asked her some, too. She said she was just screening for who would meet with the boss (hopefully) next week.

I think I scored major points when I complimented their website: she said a friend of hers designed it. I sent her an email thank you letter.

The work would be interesting and I know I'd be good at it, hope I impressed her. If I didn't I've got the other interview on Wednesday.

I now have two interviews tomorrow, the phone interview and an in person one with the new place. I shouldn't have spent the money, but I bought a new outfit and I am going to look and feel confident. Yes, I am!

Interview updates

Phone interview went great, I'm going in Monday for a face to face interview and Wednesday to sit with some of the people who are doing the job. I'm not getting my hopes too high up, as she said this is standard for they way they hire people, but I can't help thinking that they aren't going to bring 10 people in. I would think it's a select few and I am one of them. Plus they are business casual so I don't need to buy clothes.

Unlike interview number two where I would need to buy some more dressier clothes. Very professional dress. I think she liked me (probably the new suit!) and she asked for references.

I deserve the job that is right for me, and if one of these is it, then I will get it.

Sounds more than promising!! I think buying the new suit was a great idea. Ever notice that how you feel about what your hair, clothes feel or fit do make a difference about how one carries themselves?

I hope you get to choose between all 3 offers!! Wouldn't that be nice?

Crossing my fingers and my toes.

Hi Annierose.

I don't know how I would choose, though not having to buy new clothes is a definitive plus. This is very scary, but I hope the one that is right for me comes to me.
