I bought some body butter

Posted by Deneb on January 22, 2007, at 17:10:32

I think I remembered there was once a thread on body butter and how nice it made one's skin feel. Well, I was walking in the mall looking to buy some jeans for my Mom (that were on sale), when I suddenly decided to go into The Body Shop.

They have a big selection of body butter. They have cocoa butter, shea butter, almond butter, papaya butter, olive butter, strawberry butter, coconut butter, some citrus fruit butter, and I'm sure there were more.

Anyways, I splurged. :-) I bought a Papaya Body Butter. It smells nice. It was twenty dollars. I'm going to use it everyday and I'm going to smell like fresh fragrant papaya. :-) Yum. :-)

What small joys there are in life. :-)

I can't wait to take a shower and try the body butter. :-) I don't usually use any body lotions or creams. I noticed my legs were kind of dry.

I also bought this exfoliating glove. I was tempted to buy shower gel, but maybe I'll save that as a reward for myself.

I'm so excited for you- haha... in fact you have inspired me to take a hot bath tonight... my husband was called out of town for the night and I'm alone with my 16 month old... and I wasn't looking forward to it, until you inspired the bath :) It's going to end up being a good night! Thanks!

If I say I'll join you in a bath because my hubby is also out of town, will people start to talk about us? ;)

Somehowerother my sis-in-law heard through the grapevine that her dearest little sis [inlaw] was down in the dumps over depressing dissertation days.

She sent me a package with my favorite: pink grapefruit body butter and body cream.

I dunno if you have ever tried Origin's line of body products? They have one that is called happiness or joy or something like that, and the predominant scent is of grapefruit. It smells so yummy I could EAT it I swear!!!

Same sis-in-law heard about my obsession (and knew of my non-existant budget for dept. store fancies) and got me a gift set for X-mas one year ((((((sisinlaw)))))))

and imagine my surprise when I got a box from her last spring? this one was more low-budget butter, but the scent is still in the pink-grapefruit happiness family. I feel better everytime I use it.

:)

ahhhh
