housekeeping

i am, at best, challenged when it comes to house work.
the AD's make it worst.
my daughter and i live in a one bedroom and i have to pull this together for the both of us.
could i get a nudge from someone?
i am setting time late this afternoon and then tomorrow morning. everyday i will set aside some time.
i know it is better for my mind to have some sense of order (and my standards are not high)

anyone else out there who looks at the messiest parts of their house and thinks "this is what the inside of my mind looks like?"

Hi Elanor Roosevelt,

My mind is a pile of dirty dishes on the kitchen counter. Then again I just looked down at the carpet and it's full of fuzz and cat fur, so maybe my mind is worn out fuzzy carpet.

Start with the first clutter you see and eliminate it. For me once I get up the ambition it will be the dishes. Then tackle other things bit by bit, the main thing is not to let the clutter build back up in the first area before you've gotten the last bit cleaned. When I am not borderline depressed I am a neat freak, I can judge depression on how the house looks. Right now depression is rising, so to speak.

well, get on it! have you started yet? tell you what, we can be cleaning buddies today because i have hella mess to clean up today (after thanksgiving and all). so, i'm doing laundry right now (big pile on the chair... hey, i took a break to write this. that's allowed, isn't it?)

so, clean clean clean woman (right?). and, think of the sense of accomplishment (hey, it takes very little to make me feel proud!) you'll get from looking around the clean home.

well, are you STILL reading this? get on it (or under the piles of trash you've collected.)

take care and know there are other cleaners today feelin crappy :)

I have three suitecases of stuff with me, and I have no idea how on earth I managed to get so messy. Maybe we all just need less stuff
