does anyone even do this anymore?

Posted by karen_kay on October 16, 2006, at 16:42:19

a ten list, that is......
10) my son. he's perfect (even moreso than i) he's jabbering on and on (high-pitched, girly like). he's rolling on the floor (and bumping that poor little head on everything (guess he has his mother's grace) he's happy to see me walk through the door when i've been gone and every morning he's in the best mood (even at 7 am, go figure, he doesn't get that from mommy or daddy) he's so long, he's wearing 1 year clothing (his parents are both giants!!). did i mention he's perfect?

9) beer, antibiotics and painkillers (not necessarily in that order)

8) rj reynolds

7) beautiful little girls who i can make laugh at any time (and nothing's better than little kid giggles, except maybe beer)

6) being happy (and not depressed!!!)

5) my sissy (though i can do without her wearing my old clothes that i can't fit into anymore, that shameless hussy!)

4) my perfect butt being even more perfect (oh yes, it's true!!! now it's not flat and it's gotten bigger! i can actually shake my junk (well, i can shake it, but i have poor coordination... maybe it looks stupid but i can pretend it looks good... besides i don't see any of you people dancing like michael jackson, now do i?)

3) oh yes, i have boobs now!!!!!

2) living close to my mother but having limited contact (!!!!!!!)

1) curb your enthusiasm on dvd (i wonder what larry david is really like.... can he really be that quirky?)

ok, who's next??????

make that 11 list:

my wonderful husband who loves me more than anything else (and puts up with my crap. who loves me even though i'm a dork) who opens doors for me so much that when i go somewhere alone, i hesitate waiting for the door to open on its own. and thinks it's sexy when my armpits stink.

ok, who's next?

These lists seem to appear on the Self Esteem board now.
Alhough I think there are far too few of them!!

Trailer Park Boys 10:

10) Getting out of jail for good behaviour, and buying the best weed from the jailguards to share with friends.
09)Watching Randy, with no shirt, take off his pants and his big gut hanging out, and try to fight over a can of tuna.
08)Julian carrying a glass of rum and coke perfectly, while exiting an overturned vehicle.
07) Cory and Trevor regarding Shemale experience: "It doesn't matter if they, like, just do something to you, eh?"
06) Bubbles with his pellet gun guarding his home (a shed) from the supposed "Snatchsquash".
05)Randy and Mr. Leahy coming "out of the closet" admitting they are gay lovers after being caught after playing Dominator/Slaveboy in their trailer
04)Bubbles saying "F*ck, you know I love Rush! Ya know he is gonna play that god*amn f*cking drum solo! do do dodo...dodododo...dodododdododododo....ping.
3)Ricky going to the store, buying something, looking for change, and accidentally placing his gun on the clerk counter. The clerk freaks out, and the guys just rip off the stuff and run.
2)Lucy buying Julian a "Belt Buckle Mistletoe" :-)
1)Ricky trying to sell hash to people who attended midnight mass at the local church.

So there we go...badabada...bing :)

Oh...so good! Anybody who doesn't really understand the TPB's won't likely like it. As usual, they talk about how good going to jail is "because jail guards have the best fu*king hash..!!" :-) Alex from Rush makes a cameo as a cop, which is hillarious in itself. I think you gotta look beyond all the swearing, and "feel the love"..heh. And Bubbles...oh what an amazing character, and he is the smartest of them all, despite what some might think. Plus, he loves kitty cats. You get the show on BBC America, don't you? I hope they don't censor all of the swearing, because you'd have no conversation..lol. I'd highly suggest tracking it down...as it was released in many American markets. Well, it should be out on dvd by next summer, or spring. Fun for the whole family :-)

BBC America was the one showing it. Sure hope Comedy Central picks them up eventually. Some very kind fans loaned our family some discs of the original tv movie and the xmas special.

If you don't love Bubbles from the xmas special then perhaps love isn't possible? ;)
