Falls is one of my dearest babblebuddies. She's been there for me and helped me through some of my darkest days with her sense and strength. She is so kind and generous, and her heart is so big.
Fall's dad is not well, and Falls hasn't been on psycho-babble much because she's busy keeping life going. When she's ready, she'll be back.
I just wanted to tell you all what's going on, and to tell FallsFall that I miss her, and I'm keeping her and her family in my heart.

I've missed seeing falls around here, too, but I'm glad she's taking care of her family and herself first.

He fell and hit his head. He has been in a coma for a week and a half. He was trying to open his eyes yesterday, but doesn't respond to commands. I really don't know what will happen.
Your prayers are greatly appreciated.

Oh sweetie, how awful! I'm so sorry. What a scary situation. I'm sure the waiting is hard. I hope you've got others with you for support. I would imagine you might be doing the "in charge" thing with the medical staff...making sure things go smoothly, he gets what he needs, etc. If so, make sure you're taking time out for you, too.

He is doing a little better today. He opens both eyes wide, and even looked at his sister when she told him to. They think it is taking him a long time to get the old meds out of his system. He needs a minor procedure tonight (hopefully) that will make him much more comfortable - they have to give him some anesthesia, hopefully it won't last much longer than the procedure.
I was so glad to see him awake today.
