I said I was leaving and meant it. I was deeply hurt but will not go into that.

I have decided to stay (for now) but only read posts by people I have some trust in.... and who have never hurt me.

Oh how stupid that I did not stick to that over a year ago.

grrrrrrrrrrrrrr

I'm glad you're staying. I selectively read here to keep from feeling overwhelmed (and undereducated, ha ha). I look forward to getting to know you.

Thanks Clearskies! Heh. I know just what you mean about feeling both overwhelmed.... and "undereducated".... thankfully I do have some friends with very high IQ's who are also kind. I still feel like a duh butterfly at times though :p

I also do know the meaning of many words (why am I even saying this).... I do have a degree in English and am able to access many sources of information if I am unsure. (how strange, a butterfly being able to do that, and a growly one too). I have also occasionally used obscure words for fun.... How "odd" (strange/weird/ cannot be bothered to access dictionary) :o(

My husband is highly educated and intelligent but not very verbal!

Looking to getting to know you too, thanks for posting!

I love your name too. So earthy. Right up my alley.

And you don't have to read ANY post you don't want to. If I find something offensive, I try to just close it right then and there. If I'm up to it, I will calmly tell the person I'm sorry I incited such a negative response from them, and certainly didn't intend it. They will either accept that or not. Mostly they do though and realize it was a misunderstanding.

Not that I'm miss perfect, I lose my cool just like everyone else. That's why we get warnings here instead of immediate blocks. Sometimes you just don't realize how something you said really sounded.

I got PBC'd once. It was obviously a joke and me being my normal idiotic self, and even the guy it was directed toward took up for me saying the same. But all the same, as soon as I said it, I was like, ooh, that wasn't good. How am I to know if that person, or someone else reading would not be offended? They don't know me, or that I would never intentionally hurt anyone.

Well, there I go again babbling like an idiot, I guess I'm in a preachy mood tonight. And I'm too tire to finish what I've started. I guess I better go to bed.

I don't even play the game

Don't wanna waste time learning something I'm likely to always be mediocre at.

Is that defeat or victory?

I already forgot what the point of this post was.

Oh yeah. I need an Englishy-person to help me. I saw a word today. don't remember what it means. all I remember is that I USED to remember.

gelid

hope it's civil!
