You are the classiest dame I know.
This is hard for me, but I do it because I hate bullying....abhor bullying... can't stand by and watch it...
We live in a rural area, hunters abound. For several weeks now every morning when I sit on the throne in the first misty light of dawn a doe and her spotted fawn appear out my bathroom window. Every evening while we're making dinner, they reappear. I am, we are, entranced, enchanted by this beauty, but I ask myself, are we not endangering them by encouraging them to feel safe here (not that our encouragement extends beyond whispering and not making sudden movements...) When they leap over (or, in the case of the fawn, under) the fence they expose themselves to the guns any fool can shoot from a passing car.... the fools don't even need to do anything but roll down the window... and be oblivious to beauty...
Part of why I don't want to be here anymore, part of why I don't want to respond to you despite my heart's aching to do so, is that I don't want you to feel it's safe here for you, I don't want to lull you into thinking this is a good place for you, a protected place. It is not safe. It is not protected.
Sorry about the hubristic elements of this post.

Leave. Put your energies into avenues that can recognize and nourish you as you deserve.
