No pets currently. I love the cuteness of pets but hate the cleanup and the furniture/rug damage.

Man, that's so far-out, I have to suspect it's faked. Bunnies don't have toes, do they? And those arms are bigger than the guy holding it.

Well maybe I should have googled before casting doubts on the giantest giant bunny. Snopes urban legend page says it's for real

yeah, I had to check too.
It's so very.. Monty Pythonish.

I have a big fear of passing on Urban Legends.

Here's one named Rudi.

If you scroll down on the article, you can see the real reason why his owner couldn't eat him.

I think they are related, the rabbit just needs a little jacket.

Wow! I thought it was fake too! I always go to Snopes for my urban legend checks. You'd be surprised how many ridiculous things you believe are true but aren't.

I have a friend who went to Alaska and he told me about these giant rodents they had just roaming around there.
He said they totally freaked him out.

Just imagine if we ran into some of these strange animals in the wild, like the Kamodo Dragon. We'd think we were in a 60's scifi movie or something! I know I would definitely wonder if someone slipped me something.

Rodents of Unusual Size? I don't believe they exist. ;)

Besides, there are no fireswamps in Alaska to the best of my knowledge.

:)

No fireswamps, but apparently there are muskrats.

He really had no reason to lie. It was funny, he's my Chinese friend so he had trouble getting across what he was talking about at first, then I showed him a picture of a groundhog and he said, "Yes, but the size of a pig!" He even demostrated the noise they make.

I saw a show about insects once, and the narrator stealthily snuck through the jungle (?) (I can't remember) found a butterfly that was about 18 inches across.

It's a regular show, but I can't remember what it was called. I'm fascinated by insects, but the narrator made me feel a bit sick.

There was something just a bit too intimate about the way he carressed and whispered to the insects.
I felt like I should avert my eyes.
I thought maybe it was just me, but I asked my sister and she concurred.
