i called today 6months(?), after meeting w/ my lawyer, over 5 years since it happened and he opened a private practice! no call, no letter, no screw your case, NOTHING! i spoke w/ the new DA and told him i have been pushed to the side and BS'ed long enough and i want to know WTF is going on by Monday. he said he would do it. if not, i'm gonna drive my happy *ss down there and stay at his office until they friggin do something. this SOB has been out b/c the 1st DA didn't realize how close his release date was so he's been free doing whatever while i'm trapped within myself~HELL NO! they will not screw me any longer. an eye for an eye. i have been lost all these years....ooooh i'm just pissed!

I thought it had been rectified? Well you know where I am everyday. About l5minutes away. Just ask if you need help. Do they know where he is now?Love Phillipa

you sound strong, like a fighter. You are so good to do your best to bring the criminal to justice. Camp out at the DA's office. Make your voice heard.But, if there comes a time when the justice system is further traumatizing you, make sure you take care of yourself first. Try to keep some distance, and let this just be one of your many tasks in life. Make your family, and your health, and your happiness a bigger priority, and when you have a little spitfire left over-- prosecute the rapist with determination and spirit.
to WildcardII, who has a voice when so many don't.

he's charged w/ 1st degree sexual assault~ possible but doubtful 30 years....
