It's a kitty! Poor little stray was nearly starved to death. We're taking it to the vet soon, because it looks as if it has an eye infection. We may get to keep her :)
My daughter named her Cali the Calico.

Aww, she's cute! She looks like she needs some nice humans to take good care of her. But a good pet, look at how nicely she sits on laps

Puppies and kittens we should start a board for our animals and yes she's cute but does look like eye may be infected. And again you Daughter looks like you cute. Love Phillipa

I took kitty to the vet today....found out it's a boy, not a girl - I can never tell when they're so young!
Kitty has an eye infection, so we're giving him antibiotics, and he also has ear mites, so he gets eardrops for that. Tomorrow he has to get checked for worms.
Vet said he'll be good as new soon :)
I also heard rumor that there is another kitty that looks like him a few blocks from our house - looks like someone just dumped a litter of kittens all over the neighborhood. We might go try to find the other one, because supposedly it's in worse shape. I can't afford to take another kitty to the vet, but we could take it to a shelter.
It looks like maybe i'll get to keep this kitty though. He needs a name. My daughter was calling him Callie because we thought it was a girl and a calico, but apparently it's neither! lol.
Anyone want to name the kitty? :-P

Apparently he's not a calico - calicos have more yellow in them.

I couldn't decide, so I asked my mom and daughter....they both thought Monty was a good name.
Looks like we're going to get to keep him, actually.

He is getting cuter every day.
You know...this kitten is good threapy for me.
I've been happier and more productive since he found us :-)
I'll post new pics when he's all better...his eyes have almost healed!
