Slurpees

Posted by llrrrpp on July 23, 2006, at 1:25:46

The guy on the bus today had a slurpee. It reminded me of my alter ego (llrrrpp/lurp/lurpsie) and then I was thinking about how maybe I am two different people. A babble llrrrpp and a real life perosn named [*]. Am I more successful on Babble than in real life (or vice-versa?)? Do I have babble-buddies that I would never talk to if I had known them in person?

what if one of the people on the bus was a babble person? Would they be surprised at who I really am? at how I act? how I look? where I'm going?

And why don't they have a 7-11 near me? I can't buy a real slurpee anywhere!

outraged,
[s]lurp[ee]

Ah, yes. And who is the REAL you? Or are you a combination of the two?

Lots of Babble people put their real names on posts, or in emails etc. I like to be Falls. Falls is different from *****. She doesn't have all of the baggage. She is more open and honest. But the longer I am Falls, the more I can integrate some of that into my real life.

(((Lurp)))

No more 7 ll's around here. Thought they went out of business? And I used to buy them for my kids when I lived in Florida in the 70's boy I'm old. Love Phillipa

I get 'ICEE's' which are what I call Slurpies. Most of the 7-11's around here have turned into 'Valero' (something like that) but I haven't been in either in years. I like Racetrack, which is right around the corner from me. Its usually got the cheapest gas, plus it has good coffee with all the extra's, ICEE's, a milkshake machine (which rocks!), a frozen cappachino machine, sandwiches, hot dogs, microwave calzones or burritos, breakfast sandwiches comparable to McDonalds, and cut up fruit or vegetable cups (which are outragously expensive, but good and oh so convienent). I go there almost every day! Oh, and beer, can't forget that. I think I could live there.

I thought 7-11s were everywhere! I live in a town of about 50,000 in Virginia and we have four of them! And a fifth in the tiny farm town a few miles away. :)
