You're very writer-ly lately Larry. That post you wrote about my broken pickaxe reminded me of Annie Proulx. And now, the poetry of buttertarts. I sense a creative rennaissance, and it's good.

Yesterday, all my troubles seemed so far away
Now it looks as though they're here to stay
Oh, I believe in yesterday

Suddenly, I'm not half the man I used to be
There's a shadow hanging over me.
Oh, I yesterday came suddenly

Why she had to go I don't know she wouldn't say
I said something wrong, now I long for yesterday

Yesterday, love was such an easy game to play
Now I need a place to hide away
Oh, I believe in yesterday

Why she had to go I don't know she wouldn't say
I said something wrong, now I long for yesterday

Yesterday, love was such an easy game to play
Now I need a place to hide away
Oh, I believe in yesterday
Mm mm mm mm mm mm mm

See. Thermodynamics at work

Just as the last of your buttertarts disappears

New ones are created. De Novo.

Do we live in a closed system or what?

I even reduced the entropy in my kitchen. yes. It took energy. Work, in the physical sense. But now I get it back, and more.

my pate brisee is all butter. no shortening here. hosirreeee!

have a nice Sunday, Lar. I will eat another dozen for you.

your friend,
-ll

Sorry for the confusion. Lovely sound effect, by the way.

No, I meant integrity as in I re-integrated my broken ego. I have things and abilities at hand that seemed distant, not so very long ago. I am changed.

But, thank you for arguing with me.

:-)

My bad, aka >>> duh! It's so much more literal that way, and I am so used to discussions IRL about the other kind....but this makes so much more sense. I was wondering what on earth would make you say that, and if I had missed something major.....

Actually, I wouldn't dare......;-)

(well, maybe, on a very, very good day)
