Administrative Professionals Day Plhhhhhhhhhh

Posted by Poet on April 26, 2006, at 13:05:39

Bronx cheer
Raspberry
British salute
whatever best describes one's tongue vibrating between one's lips with related hand gesture optional

The ever so cute Happy Administrative Professional Day card that was on my chair this morning merely serves as a reminder that I am over educated and under employed.

I wish I had just sat on it. Opening it meant I had to put it on display for all to admire. Oh, joy, I am so very very happy. A card. Just for me. I am so appreciated by everyone except all those who turn me down for jobs I am qualified for and interested in.

Yeah, happy day for me.

Hi Phillipa,

A raise? That would make a great joke card, like those it's your birthday and all I got you was this crummy card. Instead it would be it's administrative professionals day and all you get is this crummy card, and not the raise you deserve.

I will get some satisfaction out of running it through the shredder tomorrow.

Have a wonderful Poet's Day. It's a very special holiday which has its origins in celebrating dry humor and wit, friendship, and air hugs.

Happy Poet's Day!

Hi Sunny10,

I'll share my card with you. I'm sorry that whoever you work for didn't even spring for a card.

Sorry, Poet, you hit a chord with me... it's always been my pet peeve... Now I run a department, but I still have a boss- and my "title" is still administrative, but I never get squat!

And never did before I ran a department...

But it's Friday, so happy poet's day to you!
