(i know i told you to get up and now i'm wondering what you are doing up)

:-)

i'm procrastinating doing some work.

i brought a radio today.
i think i found the national radio station :-)
was listening to this guy from Arizona talking about how peoples need to make better use of controlled fire to prevent uncontrollable bushfires.

interesting...

if only you could combine informative radio with hip hop / rap / techno

:-)

that sounds kinda ominous when you put it like that...

kind of like

i know where you live.

but i know you didn't mean it that way.

i think in general... it is better to not make a big deal of these things...

half a secret is knowing that a secret exists etc etc.

please people.

otherwise... i'm just going to have to keep on changing things around... which is disconcerting for most people... me included... and now that the 'do not guess' thing is official... could lead to blockings.

but i am serious.

and i hope people have enough respect for my privacy to... well to respect it. if people want to know then my babblemail is on. if my babblemail is off then i guess that means i don't want people to babblemail me so they should just give me the courtesy of moving along...

and i would hope... i really would hope... and people wouldn't gossip about this and inform other people...

but of course...

welcome to the boards.
and other people more generally.

sigh.

sorry phillipa, just in a crappy mood...

I think I've caught the cold as well. :( Go for the gummi worms. They are so much better than the gummi bears.

Last night was a junk food fest. But still, you can't beat dorito's and chocolate

What kind of Dorrito's?

(Would people believe I had never ever seen them before last week! I didn't even know what they were! They are much nicer than CC's and your garden variety corn chip)

Did you find poppy seed and sundried tomato???

it's a downer that is a main ingredient in a cat tranquilizer.

maybe we are the test case.. oh.. dunno if that happens here.

in nz we are a test case for a lot of things. we are a good pop size (not too big not too small re advertising) and fairly representative of the US / canada / british / aussie market.

so...

apparantly we got EFTPOS first :-)
and they encouraged us to use it...

i had an account with no fees...
(60c on other bank atm and tellar transactions $2)
$1,000 interest free overdraft for 3 years.
cheque book if i wanted it...

over here...
stuff all atm's. really. not happy.
$3 other bank atm and tellar transactions.
$3 monthly charge
free EFTPOS withdrawals - so i'm thinking sweet - that's me...

only to find...

who the hell has EFTPOS? stuff all places thats who.
then not only that but $10 purchase minimum and most don't like to give out cash.

not used to this...

bizzare.

so anyway.. maybe we are the test case for gormet dorrito's?

on a slightly different note.. Fontera (I think it is called) is one of the big companies in NZ... Dairy... Apparantly they aren't so keen on cheese in asia / eastern countries. don't like the taste. so what do you know... chocolate flavoured cheese. yeech. we won't touch the stuff... but apparantly the kids over there love it :-)

dairy... induces disgust in some cultures. interesting. if i think about it too much... i do believe i can take their point...
