thanks for reminding me of this stuff. I've got a pregnant friend, and one of the stores across the street sell ramones and ac/dc baby clothes. Of course they'll need all that regular stuff, but still. I think they even have onsies.

always fun to bust out old stuff and remember way back. how odd to read about this as kid a is visiting and we just finished watching Punk: Attitude by Don Letts. link to IFC channel info about it: http://tinyurl.com/c2v8a
it is also listed in imdb.

made in 2005 it is a fairly decent history of the roots of punk and the US and UK punk scenes. if you haven't seen it already do try to find it.
an educational documentary for the kids today LOL

You calling me a kid?!! *winks*

Its wierd.. while I've always been a Clash fan, its only been the last few years that I've really started discovering punk. I had alot of issues around music from 6 years of bullying from my ex about musical tastes.. and the release of being able to like what *I* like is wonderful!

I want that Joe Strummer t-shirt in my size now though. I had the wonderful fortune to meet the wonderful Mr Strummer, and chat with him and attend a private gig for only 50 people, only a couple of months before he died. He was a nice and fantastic as you could have hoped he would be.

The Husband sent me the link to that site with "you know we have to have kids now don't you?" *L*

HAH! subtle of him. he's goooood. he's verrrry goooood!

how cool to have met Strummer before he passed. we'll never get rid of our London Calling poster from the early eighties. tattered and waiting to be framed someday. if we were planning on being a breeder we'd probably hang it in the nursery! ;) happy trying!
