changing too fast

Posted by ClearSkies on February 7, 2006, at 22:29:37

i guess this is the xanax leaving its parting gift as it leaks out of my system
been a week since i stopped taking it. no anxiety outwardly but the blood pounding in my head in my stomach is very distracting.
or a fever stuck in my brain? but my head is tripping me up. i fall flat on my face trying to keep up as my thoughts race ahead of the rest of me
at least there is *some* part of me that is athletic
*lol*

ok i know i am not really witty but i even feel funny tonight

that i only have a sense of humour
and by that i mean a whiff of a sense
when i experience withdrawals
what a shame.

Sounds like a really hard time. What dose were you on, and for how long?

I had been taking .25 mg daily for the past 5 months.
before that, intermittently up to 1mg every day
for about a year or more

I do sympathize. I'm attempting to get off effexor, and the anxiety is horrible.

I hope that tomorrow is better for you

>>Physical or psychological pain stimulates my sense of humor and I joke around way too much.
Hope it gets better for you, CS.

I hope you feel better soon, Clear Skies.

I thought the small dose of Xanax was helping you?

I'm MUCH better today, thanks.
I think that the xanax has been contributing to my depression. I still have some cognitive issues (I am making more lists these days) and it could be contributing to that too. My pdoc is seeing me every other week during this process of medication reductions. In addition to stopping the xanax, she had me reduce the Campral dosage to a third of what it's been. And today I have a great deal of clarity.

I'm ever so grateful to find that the anxiety has resolved itself, if only for the moment.

Hey ClearSkies :-)

I'm so glad to hear your feeling a little better today. Just sorry it's such a wild, unpredictable ride you're on :-(

Just wanted to say sorry too for my posts to you lately. Don't know what's wrong but the words just aren't in the same universe as the feelings that make me want to connect with you. They just don't look, read, or feel right and I'm sorry for that.

Since the very first you have touched me and moved me with your writing - with who you are - with how you are with so many here. And that, that means so very much to me.
Your posts bring a feeling of warmth I can't quite explain, and so much wisdom and common sense that I rely on. Sometimes hurts, worries, upsets and sadness too, but that's okay because it means you've reached me and effected me in ways that matter. Thank you for that.

I hope we can virtually waltz around the living room or tango through the kitchen soon. Those moments bring so much joy and happiness.

Thanks for the many small kindesses and so many other things, but mostly just for being the CS we know and love.

Take good care of you okay.

(((((ClearSkies)))))

Please take care. And remember ........... you know where to find me.

Tears of gratitude. Your words, Damos, reduce the enormity of isolation to a sliver, a glance. Just a little bump in the road to skip over. Thank you so much for this.
Dancing shoes are ready.

Think I've cried enough tears this week to break the drought. Thank you CS.

Hmm, steel cap boots and shin guards are an interesting look with the ballgown, but a girls gotta do what a girl's gotta do ;-)
