I thought maybe I would get more responses on this board. When a man winks at a women is he just being nice, flirting, or trying to nonverbally say something? What do you think?

It really depends on the context. Flirting is an odds on choice (especially if the man is a stranger or newly acquainted), but there are lots of possibilities.

>I read your post on the other board also. I think it really does have to do with the context. In your case, I think it means that he really cares for you (not necessarily in a sexual way). My last boss (who was a pdoc) used to wink at me every once in awhile. It was a way to show that he cared. That I wasn't just his employee, but that who I was and what happened to me mattered. He did things to back that up like calling to check on me if I was sick or making sure I was ok after I had my wisdom teeth out. And since I've stopped working for him, he has done some big favors for me. The winks were just like patting me on the back...a way of showing that he cared.
My guess is that your T is winking at you for the same reasons.

depends...sometimes it's a friendly hello, or an acknowledgement of some kind, with some familiarity, but not too overtly
