Why do have no support on this site

Posted by rjlockhart on November 8, 2005, at 23:46:21

There used to be people that responded to my posts, now its idle. Phillipa usally responds, but i know her pretty good. Linkadge, Spriggy, Maxime (i understand with her situation she's in), no one understands my posts here, they stopped caring.

Im getting help, people here dont understand why?

Im alone. People look at me in my posts about fear, i pace the house, they dont know what to say and go talk with someone they know.

Is there other support sites, or ill just get the same response, none.

I am sorry you feel as if no one supports you here. I don't agree with you on that, but you have the right to feel the way you feel.

Matt, NO ONE here has any REAL answers for anyone. Care decisions and med decisions should be made face to face with a prescribing person, therapist, etc. - that is my opinion.

Personally, I feel for you greatly and I wish things were better for you, but after following your posts for quite a while - I simply do not understand what is going on with you and I have found some inconsistencies over time. There are many times folks just don't know what to say to a person or have nothing helpful to post.

On line help is limited. You are on a site where peers are the support - we all struggle from time to time. The reality of the situation is we can only help one another but SO much and I don't think expecting more is helpful for anyone.

Matt, I'm always here for you. You do have my new E-mail address don't you? If not Babble me and I'll send it to you. And for everyone else. Honestly post your med regime. Fondly, Phillipa

Hi, I am new here, and would like to talk to you anytime.

I have had 2 crticisms (slight, but being the Poster-child for sensitvity, it is very painful).

Talk to me, I will ALWAYS respond. I've been counseling (abused women for the past 10 years), bevcause of my lifetime of experience, and extensive research. i don't know what your "story" is, but please let me know.

I care
I know what it is like to feel alone

matt, i totally agree with glydin 100%, and with the others who are absolutely wonderful.:) i am sorry you are not feeling supported, but the ability to support can wax and wane, as was noted..and the group, i've noticed, tends to pick up each others' vibes sometimes, so the mood can be a semi-collective up or down mode..sometimes ppl need to take a little break from support and socialize and have a little fun..it's part of the process of healing..i'm not sure how relevant anything i'm saying is right now..i must admit some of your posts confuse me as well..but anyway..i have replied to several of your posts i think, too (not sure actually if *you* reply back to *me* or not:)), and am sad to see you feel that way...hope you feel better.:)
take care,:)

Hi Amy, it's good to see you. It's been a while since I was over here so I've missed some returner folks. It is good to see you.

Hi Matt

Hope you are feeling better. You don't always ask definite questions in your posts, so it can be difficult to write a reply.

Kind regards

Ed
