A man living next to a pub owns a cat that gets run over by a car.
A year later at midnight, the pub owner is doing his accounts when the cat’s ghost appears holding half its tail in its paw.
“I used to live next door but my old master has moved away, so can you help me?” the cat says.
“I remember you!” the pub owner says. “How can I help?”
“You see this bit of tail I’m holding?” the cat says, “It was cut off in an accident. Can you help me mend it?”
“I’m sorry, but much as I’d like to, I can’t retail spirits after 11”.Sabrina
