Has anyone ever tried rakie?

Posted by Chrispy_85 on October 20, 2005, at 8:42:03

a friend told me to have a rakie session to see if it helps. i called the woman that performs it and she seems very nice and told me that she could probably help me in just a few, hour-long sessions. i am a bit skeptical just because in my mind, i just can't see it being so simple. never-the-less, the thought of being helped in such a short period of time seems very appealing and i just have to give it a shot. she told me that there has to be some underlying unresolved issue that i possibly don't even know is there and this causes your body and mind to be consumed by negative energy. she said that what she does is try to relieve the body of the bad energy and re-energize it with positive energy. i will be ecstatic if it really works, i'm just a little skeptical is all. which could be a problem because i feel that for it to work, i would really, truely have to believe in it. i'm not sure what exactly to think of it. has anyone here ever tried it before? Does it help?

Hey Chrispy,

Yep, have had quite a few Reiki sessions and have done work with other 'energetic healers' too. Also do basic self Reiki practice most nights.

What can I say, it's natural to be sceptical. The most important thing I can tell you is that at worst it will do no harm. It's important that if you do go you 'just let it happen'. If you're expecting this or that to happen and trying to anticipate what is going to take place you won't get as much out of it as if you just let what ever happens happen. I can't tell you the actual experiences you are likely to have because they will be your experiences and because I know in my own case that they are different every single time. I've attached a link below which will help you understand Reiki a little. All I know is it works for me in a lot of ways. Good luck.
