Sometimes life throws way more at us than we ever think we can handle. We manage and get through it somehow. And we end up stronger for it.

Little consolation, I know.

I'm sorry you're dealing with so much. If there's anything at all I can do to help, let me know.

Extra hugs for you, (((((Dinah))))).

Laurie

Read this carefully because it is not a negative message. I do not think that we always become stronger from our experiences. Sometimes our experiences can just be useless painful wastes of time. I do think that we become WISER for our trials and this wisdom can help us protect ourselves from ending up in the same place. To me that is what it is all about. Moving on. Good Luck.

Funny how a little hello can make such a big smile.

Thanks, Gabbi.

What is it that people say? Something along the lines that God never sends us more than we can handle, but I wish he'd stop putting so much faith in me?

Oddly enough, in some ways I'm doing better than many people around me. I think it's because I acknowledge my weaknesses and allow for them. So I'm taking way more meds, and doing whatever I need to do to get through. While other people aren't as used to taking care of themselves.

T3 (don't ask) thinks that my approach is very very sane.

And maybe it is.

You'd never think chronic illness could be such a positive factor, would you?

Dinah -

Are you really going to leave us hanging????

T3? Glad you are still seeking additional support for the gaps between your "real" T.

You are strong. Being strong doesn't mean you don't have weak moments or regrets.

Glad you still have your sense of humor.

Annie

It just didn't really amount to anything for external reasons.

I remembered a therapist that I was considering consulting for a special purpose, and my therapist was ok with that, but she also does regular therapy.

So I called her, and we scheduled a meeting. But we discovered there's a possible circumstance that would make it impossible for her to see me, nothing major or serious, just technical. So she's going to check it out but will probably have to refer me on.

It's a shame. In our one meeting she seemed quite intuitive, if a bit strong on the change agenda.

Thanks for replying, even though you asked not to ask. I was out of town for the weekend, so I just read your reply. I need to catch up on my kids + house + stuff.

Sounds like you though she'd be okay to talk to. Hopefully she'll have solid referrals as well.
