When i grew up in hard core dallas, the hood! Elemenerty School, if you had a Selena tape you where cool. It was in more of hte hispanic area..

Loved her voice, her style, her spirit.....
Story about her life is one of my favorite movies, though I'm not a big JLo fan...she did do a pretty good job...
It was a horrible tragedy what happened to Selena. Such a waste.
At least we do have her music still, though.

I think she was shot in 1995.
