It's been a few years since I've been over there, so I went looking for tube maps to get my bearings.
Found a great link - nothing to do with the blasts, but a great picture anyway. An aerial view of London with the tube lines superimposed.http://www.limbicnutrition.com/blog/archives/images/tube_geo.jpg

I'm OK..
I was just outside Edgeware Road Tube station when it happened there..
Fate.. Karma.. what ever.. But if I hadleft the house 5 minutes later I would have been on THE train..
I'm *very* shaken.. very freaked.. but very numb.. I can't watch the news yet.. but I've been told that will come..
Thanks everyone for the thoughts.. and PC for the email..
I spent most of the day in an eveacuation and emergency centre (also known as a Hilton Hotel.. the staff were utterly, truly amazing..).. I've made alot of cups of tea and hugged alot of people..
I still can't believe any of it.. I'm not back in reality yet..
I'm alive though.. god, I'm alive..

Nikki, dear, you know I'm not a hugger, but you know what? I'm so relieved that you're ok, that if I could, I'd wrap both arms around you so tight and just hold you until we both felt safe.
(((Nikki)))
Wrap yourself in some of my love, and let's see if it helps. Love, Racer

OMGosh Nikki, I can't believe what you had to go through today...it must have seemed unreal.
I'm so glad you are safe. You're a hero for helping out survivors...it must have been very difficult for you.
Take care and take it easy.

given the horror of the situation it must have felt good to be able to be hands on and provide some assistance.
