i know some of you have rats..
reginia (all ready to the vet) tumor is so large she can not walk (back leg)2 years old..small tumors starting in her face...
she is in no pian!..she looks so horrid!..
how will i let her die when if the pain starts?
it will be soon..
(no room for organs)...
what is the best way...so morbid...but ...i need your input..

How will you be able to tell if she is in pain? Never had a rat or known anyone that has had one. We did have a ferret that I was completely in love with.

Oh, sweetie. I think when rattie is ready she will go to sleep and won't require any help from the humans. I'm so sorry she isn't well, but she is in your very caring hands. Lucky rat.

How awful. Can they do surgery?

If there is no room for organs there may be no pain. But they do make pain killers.

If it gets too bad, the stuff they use on cats and dogs is really quite humane. I've held mine as they drifted off and it seems so peaceful.
