I'd love to move to Seattle as well. But the cost of living there is so much higher than my town that I could never buy a home. Homes are 3+ times there than they are here.

So I think Little Rock, Arkansas or Huntsville, Alabama is where I'd like to move. I'd think it would be very hard to leave southern culture anyway. Or do y'all consider yourself southern in Dallas? :)

My daughter went there to space camp twice and we went there to pick her up when it was over. Nice little place.

I first visited there in the seventies, when I was showing dogs, and fell in love with what is now, I suppose, known as the old part of town. :)

I've passed through a number of times since and made sure to stop for a while.

When it looked like my husband's company was going to leave our area, and we weren't crazy about where it was moving, we subscribed to the Huntsville newspaper, got the Huntsville telephone book, and were preparing to make a preliminary drive there when news came that the move was off.

It would have been hard to move his family and my family anyway. And we can't leave them since he's a real only child and I'm sort of emotionally an only child.

And now I wouldn't leave my therapist for anything.

Sooooo....

I've gotten to like this place better. Especially since I adore my son's school. The only school I can imagine liking better is School of the Woods (if I've got it right) in Houston (or is it Dallas).
