NOT giving in to the Black Dog...

Posted by jay on February 6, 2005, at 16:22:31

I know the Black Dog of depression and anxiety is behind me every day...has been really close for about 10 years. Sometimes I use the energy of anxiety to scare the living sh*t out of the Beast. I've tried going for it's throat, beating the sh*t out of it, strangling it, that it has learned to fear me a bit. I don't care...I'd take a combo of 100 pills....have brain surgery...anything to kick the living sh*t out of this Beast. It tries to bite me...I bite back!! I just think...maybe today is not gonna be the day I knock out the Beast, but tommorow I will bring It to It's knees. It doesn't make me any 'better' or 'stronger' than anyone else out there....but it's just a bit of friendly advice...give It a good a*s whoopin'!
