Partly Cloudy Newbie Queen

And no dear I did not say nubile, but I can if you want me to.

I just wanted you to know that during my (Ahem) "hiatus" I noticed that the newbie board was kinda neglected. There were several new people reaching out for support, but not very many responses were showing up. I wanted to blame the Admin board threads for this (simply because I was ticked) and wondered if all that was going on over there was causing some people to just not post. I of course at one time entertained the thought that many people were boycotting babble because I was blocked, but then I smacked myself in the forehead and got over it. I felt sorry for the people on Newbie. It was then that I realized that you were the first one to post to me and made me feel better. I began reading that board (I had to read a lot since I couldn't post) and I realized that you were the greeter (officially or un-officially) on that board and esentially posted to as many new people as you could. I then saw that without your posts, the board was stagnant. I am not mentioning this to make you feel bad for not responding to those post right away. I realize you were going through a rough time as well. I just read that board tonight, and low and behold there you were, making up for lost time. You responded to almost every thread that appeared on there for the past two weeks. I could tell you were back in the swing. Bless you PC, you truely have a gift for welcoming people here. You certainly saved me from certain ruination, and I am sure that with your warm smile, you have given hope to some new people here who might just be a little like me and thought that this was their last hope for salvation.

(((((((((PartlyCloudy))))))))))

You make me glad to be here.

I never thought that a restricted Newbie board was a good idea, but that's a beef I have with Dr. Bob. I think it's wonderful that Partlycloudy makes people feel at home at Babble.

Your post made me cry.

PC was my first close babble friend and I didn't even post on the newbie board.

Thanks for this AdaGrace

Mmmm. I used to hop in there with Partlycloudy because I so enjoyed doing it, making new friends, maybe offering support and also becasue I knew PC would not mind me joining in as an "unofficial" greeter. I was so sad the day I tried to post to AdaGrace when she first joined and my access was denied. I felt so unwelcome.

Sorry to interrupt, but I'd like to redirect follow-ups regarding joining as an official greeter to Psycho-Babble Administration. Here's a link:

Thanks,
