Hi,
If you didn't get to see Jon Stewart on Crossfire recently, here is a link to the transcript. You can also download the video.

I love this man!

Thanks for the link - however, to some degree it's actually depressing to watch. The Crossfire guys never stop talking/interrupting. Jon Stewart was allowed to finish very few sentences, and clearly they didn't get his point.

We've become a nation of political pundits who take themselves too seriously. No one actually reports the news anymore, they just give their opinions and boy do they love to listen to themselves.

I just wish they'd listen to Jon Stewart instead.

I was really proud of Jon when he kept a straight face and continued to state his message. And especially when the bow-tied one whined that he expected Jon to be really funny and Jon replied "I won't be your monkey"...Stewart is wonderful!

Check out the Yahoo headlines now. I think Tucker Carlson is a jerk. His idea of debate is to ask aggressive questions and never listen to the answers. Jon Stewart is absolutely correct that this style neither constitutes debate nor discourse.

I loved the monkey comment too.

I walked through the den and saw it on that "Inside Edition" and the woman said something about Stewart's composure. Tucker Carlson is a total jerk. And the bowtie? Give me a break!! There will be no debate when all you're trying to do is be an aggressive know-it-all. That's where Stewart so outshined him. Stewart is smart. And knows it!! And we know it!

Wish I had seen it. He's so clever, funny, charming, smart, courageous and, dare I say it, sexy. (I couldn't let this discussion go on any longer without adding that.)

Yes, he is sexy.
No, he's not civil.
Heck yes, he's funny as, well you know.

And here's another statement from Jon Stewart about the Tucker-gate fall out.

Stewart admitted the Crossfire commentators had gotten in a few licks of their own.

"They said I wasn't being funny. And I said to them, 'I know that, but tomorrow I will go back to being funny, and your show will still blow.' "

I love this guy! Have I said that already?

There surely would have been some PBCs given out there.........but, boy I sure did enjoy the thrashing he gave them.......and with such class....and calm.......I would have been whacking them both upside the head and then would have pulled out my trusty can of whoop-a** and let go with it!!!!!
