Okay I'm feeling like whimpering KK come back

Posted by Jai Narayan on July 31, 2004, at 15:56:35

Have you ever missed someone so much.
I really wish she would come back....
KK.....

I remember when she was missing Zen and posted everyday how much she cared and then stopped posting till Zen came back....
A week is a long time.
It makes one weak.

Lar,

You'd think she'd be here on the dot. However a gander at her profile shows this gal has a lot going on running around my backyard and playing with a shower curtain at Emmy's house (don't ask...I'm not going to!). There is more but I've already forgotten it.

Plus she's busy towel snapping with the gainfully employed coworkers that are blessed to work with a beauty and brain such as KarenKay.

Now gitchyer tuchus here girlie!!!!!

I know we all miss KK

But given the fact that she felt she needed a babble break, maybe we shouldn't ask for her too enthusiastically? We all will be delighted to see her again, of course. But if it's healthier for *her* to stay away a bit longer, I think she should take as long as she needs.

Karen Kay, I will really enjoy seeing your smiling face (or your sad face or your angry face or whatever face you are actually feeling right now) whenever you feel ready to come back.

In the meantime, take care of *you*.

for my sister's bridal shower! nevermind that every invitation i sent out had a different (and incorrect) date. nevermind the person's house was filthy and i had to stay up all night cleaning it. i was excited about serving tea and cucumber sandwiches in a cocktail dress, along with my other sister too. (and everyone loved them!!)

thanks for the welcome back. i'll be comin round the mountain when i come (and i'm feeling MUCH better! thanks for asking!)

I thought you wanted a break.
I was a bit mean in the other thread now I'll have to eat my words

I'd like a sandwich served in a coctail dress.

(from memory, so if i forget the bread, sorry!)

MAKES 8

1 package cream cheese (softened)
1/2 tsp. garlic salt
1/2 tsp. dill weed (additional for garnish)
1 tsp. chives (additional for garnish)

mix, chill for 1 hour

use a biscuit cutter (or glass depending on size of cucumbers, cut bread to size of the cucumber, a red wine glass worked nicely for mine) and cut the middle of 8 slices of bread (i used white bread, other types could provide variety and would be tasty too), feed left-over bread to the birds

slice cucumber

spread mixture onto bread

place a slice of cucumber on top of mixture

garnish with additional chives and dillweed

chill before serving

pretty easy, huh?
