Happy Birthday Kid!

From the "Secret Language of Birthdays" -- May 16

"Those born on May 16 must walk a fine line between expressing their flamboyant side and maintaining their equilibrium. If May 16 people are repeatedly frustrated by life they will manifest psychological problems. Yet so forceful are they that no one, not even a good psychiatrist, can really help unless they themselves take the reins of their own psyche in hand. Self-destructive impulses and depressions, and manic attacks are all possible. On the other hand, when things go right for May 16 people, they are a joy to be around. Never ones to restrict their kindness and affections, they are like a sun that shines on everybody."

Thanks for shining on us, Kid.

Happy! Happy!

... thought you might appreciate a change of pace from all the German! And HEY -- if in reality I said something bad or inaccurate, blame it on the web translator site I used! I use that excuse a lot.

Now, note that I was kind enough to paste "Happy birthday, Kid!" in several other languages at the bottom. But came to find upon preliminary review that apparently a few of them contain characters that can't be comprehended by this site from here (which begs the question, how many of the characters here *can* be comprehended by this site? But I digress). Anyway, I decided to leave the gibberish in there regardless, just to show how far out of my way I went for you on this occasion.

Couple more things:

1] please excuse KK's careless spreading of lies -- nay, *rumors* about you, in falsifying your age. Thereby *robbing* you of the credit you deserve for the wisdom of your years. Please, although we've all been waiting for such an opportunity for a loooong time, do not write to Dr. Bob and try to get her blocked over this incident. She was finally trying to do something nice for a change, after all.

2] thanks for pinching me and making me blush on another thread, and then tiptoeing away snickering just when I started to succumb to your temptations in front of all the world! (CNN and E! were even on that thread by then!) Hope it was worth it. You even drove KK to leave claw marks down my face (she asked if she could leave them down my back too, but the way she was looking at me was making me nervous)!

Alles Gute zum Geburtstag, Zicklein!
Gelukkige verjaardag, Jong geitje!
Ευτυχή γενέθλια, κατσίκϊ
Buon compleanno, capretto!
Feliz aniversario, miúdo!
С днем рождения, малыш!
¡Feliz cumpleaños, cabrito! Oh, and...
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, KID!

....one more thing. You never did answer me: do you like 'em diverse or not?? ;- )

sorry kid to interrupt a very lovely post with my jealousy, but i must defend both your and my honor..... but, don't you worry dear, i'll make it up to you later, i promise.

now, i must get down to business.... SPOC! have you no decency? first of all, kid would never ever EVER pinch you, or even bat an eye in your general direction. he's known women like you in the past and wouldn't even try to get involved with such a blatant flirt as yourself. stop flattering yourself, as i'd hate to see you get hurt when he finally has to reject you dear. (and i'm so very sorry if this sounds harsh, but i've tried to tell you before using 'soft karen' voice, but you just won't let the words sink in. there does come a time when a person has to stop playing nice and finally start playing mean. perhaps next time i'll do just that.)

a simple 'happy birthday' would have been nice, but NOOOOOO, you had to try and out-do me (good luck with that dear. again, i don't want you to get your hopes up) with your 3000 different language happy birthday message, which in reality translated into 'spoc smells funny'. don't believe me? check it yourself. looks like the joke's on you this time.

and i'll not even comment on your comment about me falsifying birthdates. perhaps my memory isn't always correct. pardon me. i'm so sorry. i guess i do have one slight fault.

and about me wanting to leave claw marks down your back... did you really have to bring that up, in such a public manner? i mean, you realize that could drive kid insanely jealous at this point. good job! you ruined his birthday! i thought i told you that in private, and it would stay that way. just goes to show, never trust a woman with a secret (hmm, is that a possible reflection of myself? no, never! i don't tell secrets!)

so spoc, in conclusion... i forgot what i was saying, but i'm sure there are some really mean words in there and more claw marks and you end up crying. yes, that's what should happen. did it work at all? if you are crying by this point dear, then i'll be right over for the make-up sex. that's always the best anyway, right?

GET REAL woman, brainwashing yourself will only lead to more pain in the long run! OPEN YOUR EYES!!!

From Kid (and yes, you can QUOTE me as QUOTING him on this):

"....Where in the world is that acerbic, witty, fun loving gal who first mesmerized me with her clever turn of a phrase and roller coaster syntax. I miss her terribly. KK has thrown me over so I am most definitely on the prowl for a new fun playmate. Do you have any interest what so ever in an incredibly rich, handsome, intelligent, artistic, romantic, hunk?.... My life, sweet spoc, is in your hands...."

NEED I say more? KK, this has not gotten past second base yet, as if I owe it to you to even tell you that much (so ok ok, you're ahead of him with me there). Guess what, the truth hurts everyone sometimes. Grow up and look at what you have done. The bottom line is, you thought you could have it all KK, thought you could have us both. Thought you were so smooth that you could even pull it off with us both in the same house. But you were wrong, and now you can't face it. How many times are the jerked-around lovers of one as brazen as you driven into each other's arms in the end? Don't you ever go to the movies? He even showed me the ring he had bought you awhile back before he met me... And guess who's wearing it now?

So yeah. The truth hurts. But ya know what? *YOU* made your bed missy; only now *WE'RE* gonna lie in it. And do A LOT more than that in it too, let me tell YOU. And no, you don't even get to watch, or sit on your pony trying to peep in the window. We already put bear traps out there.

So. In sum. MEEEEEEOOOOWWWWWWWW.

So there.

<<<<<< Well, when he's with ME, he has to wear a BIG red Speedo! It's like a freakin parachute, he needs so much extra room in it. (When he's with KK, he just wears Ken's bathing suit from his daughter's Malibu Barbie set.)

Anyway, All Done, sorry to hear you forgot to take your meds yesterday, because you're DREAMIN again dear. Please start taking better care of yourself, ok dear?

)))All Done(((( <-----yes you will have to figure that out for yourself now won't you dear? Maybe you can start with considering the translation to have something to do with pushing you across the room; or crushing you like a grape... (As if you are a threat, ha ha, just validating you a little dear)

...And girls? Thanks for the laughs, but don't bother. I already won.

all the birthday wishes. There is however one small catch. I have been on birthday control pills for the past several years and am no longer able to have birthdays.(a previously undetected side effect of the pills) At first glance, this might appear to be a good thing, but in reality, it is a bit of a nuisance. Since I now appear to be younger than people half my age, I am constantly asked for my I.D. when I go to bars or try to get into an "R" rated movie. 30 year old women treat me like an annoyingly cute little brother. Most folks think my wife is actually my mom. (Gawd I'm a dead man if she ever reads this.) But don't pity me. Being chronologically challenged, is my burden to bare. I will handle it with a mature grace and dignity, that would belie my youthful appearance. Each morning as I scrutinize my reflection, hoping, nay *praying* for some tell tale sign of wrinkles, hair loss, or at least a budding double chin, I will stoically mask my disappointment that there is not even a hint of age related cell degeneration, and bravely carry on. There is unfortunately no known cure for this malady. But I do hold out hope. With the recent heart wrenching admission by world famous "Bandstand" host Dick Clark, that he too suffers from this affliction, research funds and support have been pouring in. If all the Babblers could hold me in their thoughts and prayers so that one day I too may experience the joy of a disinegrating mind and body, I would be forever grateful. Till then I will suffer silently.
Once again many thanks to all for the birthday greetings. It did make it a very special day for me. And a special thanks to KK ( you little dickens) for starting this thread, even though her motives are a tad suspect ';) (I know what you're up to)

kid

ps..Sorry...after all the anticipation and waiting I hope no one was too disappointed it was only about my birthday.....although I did get a real nifty tool belt and some awesome basketball cards.

you're married! you never mentioned that! (or perhaps you have and my faulty memory tends to block that piece of information out?) and even worse, she looks old enough to be your mother. i'm sorry kid. even though you've somehow discovered a fountain of youth, i probably won't need those resources for a good 10 to 15 years. and everyone knows i never think ahead or plan. however, i may rethink my current position if you tell me you know the secret to larger breasts! do you? and don't give me some cheap pick-up line either. i've heard those all before.

and another thing.... you question my motives for starting this thread? what possible interest would i have other than to create interest so that everyone would wish you a happy birthday and be excited, just as excited as they should be for your birthday. do you think i made money from this? and those hints took forever to think up. sheesh, try to do something nice and look what it gets you.... and to think, i tried to defend your honor.

i'm glad you had a happy birthday. now, you need to get on things and tell spoc and all done they are way out of line.

oh, and today is MONDAY!!!! how's yours going? i hope it is almost as wonderful as your birthday.
