hey, kid....

Posted by karen_kay on April 26, 2004, at 20:12:56

today is monday.... the best day of the week!!!

how was it, mr. wonderful? was it everything you'd hoped and more? do tell please... we need updates.

(and you must know, we'll never forget that monday's your day. i think it should be changed to kidday from here on out)

i'll start this thread with a small bit about my day, ok?

i awoke feeling much better than i did yesterday. i was ill yesterday. however, today my smart doggie left me a present, and mommy LOVES presents! i developed blisters on my feet from walking to class in sandals that i haven't worn since last spring. for some odd reason, i've been giggling about EVERYTHING today! i had chips and cheese yet again for dinner. my house is cold, even though it's at least 90 degrees outside. my german professor asked me what i did this weekend and i replied "ich bin toilet gesehen." he didn't ask me any further questions. my mother finally called me, i told her if she wasn't so old i wouldn't worry about her. my sister called me. i talked to my other sister. my friend called me twice. i lied to her once (oh, i'm horrible). and i watched dr phil (those people sure have lost weight!).

eventful day, eh? your turn!

I'm rethinking the Monday thing.....

I spent most of the day in jail, which was gawd awful, except for a brief respite in the afternoon when I had a lovely visitor for a couple of hours. Unfotunately I could not convince her to bail me out. So me and Barn and Andy and Aunt Bea just ben sittin' 'round playing Cribbage. Aunt Bea cheats. Who'd a thought it. I should get out a jail tomorrow. So i guess *Tuesday* is my new favorite day of the week. A course unless some idjot dings my car, or parks on my lawn, or I get gum stuck to the bottom of my shoe (gaaaawd I hate that), or I get another parking ticket, or the neighbors dawg cr*ps in my yard, or those freakin' Starlings nest in my garage (what a mess they can make), or the principal at my boys school wants to have another "conference" and ask me "where in the world did Sonny learn that kind of language" (How the F**K should I know?!) or the wife decides she needs to spend a little "quality" time with me, or my boss tells me book keeping has found some very serious discrepancies on my expense report (again)or my mail carrier decides to go ahead and press charges, or I dont win the stinkin lottery for the umpteenth time...but barring any of that, I'm sure Tuesday will be a perfect day. Hope you have a fabulous one.

Peace Out
kid

are you related to george michael? just curious.... and of course you can jump in.. feel free any old day of the week. monday, tuesday, friday, or thrusday. now saturday, that's a different story however :) ok, i take it back, even saturday...

no, my monday wasn't eventful at all, except i spent most of the day on the telephone. one call was great! one call, late in the evening, wasn't so wonderful.

can you believe kid spent his whole day in jail? what do you suppose he did to land his butt in jail? the possibilities are endless!

(and i lied a bit about the 90 degree weather. it was closer to 60, but you get the idea :) you caught me there, you clever person you!!!)

so, mr. michael, tell me a little about yourself... i'm just dying to know... and we love fresh meat on babble :)

i'll start.. i'm a youngin, 24 (almost 25, ok!!!), a student, undergrad. i don't have a job (should i?), i have the lovliest doggie in the world, the meanest old man in the world (sorry kid, i'm stealing your lines now!), and i am adorable. go ahead, ask anyone (ok, better just ask all done, she'll back me up!).... you're turn... if you want me to be more specific, just ask. i can't promise i'll be honest, but i'll answer!

Its been in the 80's here in Texas, so I was kind of wondering where you were that was actually hotter than here. I shouldn't complain though, the year before last it hit triple digits the entire month of May. I'm hoping since it isn't that hot yet its a good sign.

Who am I kidding, this is Texas!

you mentioned how much you hate stepping in gum. well imagine sitting in it.

i can't quite remember when this happened, but i assure you it did. i sat somewhere (probably on the sidewalk) and of course someone spit their gum out where i happened to place my rear. now, i didn't notice it until i used the restroom and after washing my hands i did my famous *turn-around* (i'll get back to that) and noticed the gum stuck to my butt. so, you think it's bad stepping in gum? try sitting in it.

the turn-around.... does anyone else do that? i know all done doesn't and i know that none of my friends do. also, i've never noticed any other ladies in the restroom doing it. so, when i'm done using the restroom and washing my hands, i fix my hair, apply lipstick, and turn to one side, turn to the other side, turn back to the first side, and turn back to the other side again. i always try to see if i can check out my rear in the bathroom mirror. i know this sounds silly, BUT!!!! when i sat in gum, it came in pretty darn useful. i'm wondering, does anyone else do this? anyone try to check out their butt in the bathroom mirror (not just at home, but also in public restrooms as well)? i have no shame, i don't care. if these women can listen to me pee, they can watch me check out my butt, can't they? i mean, it is covered for crying out loud...

and kid, just what were you arrested for? pubic indecency?

and just what is "quality time" with the wife? i wouldn't complain about that. i'm assuming you mean lifetime movie network and merideth baxter has never looked better. my old man never complains, but that may have more to do with the ball gag.

i hope tuesday was a blast and wednesday was even better... here's looking at thursday now kid. let me know about your day, ok?

cheers,
kk

Now, kk. You don't normally speak for me like this (or do you?) Ever since we talked about the turn-around, I've been doing it. Fortunately, I have yet to find anything other than kid's handprint...
