back in the hole

Posted by Emme on March 14, 2004, at 10:07:40

I'm in complete agony. It's been building for a few days. Wanna die, but I'm too exhausted to act on it. I'll put myself out of misery for a few hours and try to go to sleep for most of the afternoon. Maybe the extreme mood will burn itself out soon.

When you wake up, do something that you really like to do (for me, it would be swinging on swings, coloring with crayons, blowing bubbles or eating ice cream - Do you have a similar list of things that you like?)

Let the "I have to do this, but I don't want to" things slip today.

God I'm sorry you feel so badly....some other folks around here have noticed a real dip in people's moods this time of year...I wonder if that's affecting you, too.

Has anything else changed in your life recently? If sleep helps, by all means sleep.....I wish I could offer more help, but we are all here for you. :-)

Emme,
You know, I hang out here, and one of the things that I notice is that everyone cares. Everyone picks each other up. Here is where I go to find good people.
Then, I notice that all of these good people are in such pain, such terrible pain. Sometimes I wish that we could switch things around... let the bad people have our pain, and let us feel good. Why should all of the users and abusers go around being happy while we feel bad?
I know that nothing I say is going to change the way things are, but I want you to know that I consider you one of the good people. You are one of those I want to talk to, to exchange thoughts with. You deserve to feel better, and just because you don't, that doesn't make you bad. I see the support you offer others, and you really help.
Take care of yourself, try some of the ideas you have been offered. Take a warm scented bath, scent your clothes drawers with your favorite scent, a sort of aromatherapy. Read a child's book, have some hot cocoa. Take care of the little you, consciously. You can make it through this.
(((((Emme)))))

Dee.

Hang in there Emme. I'm so sorry that things are so bad for you now. It does seem to be going around. Can you contact your T?

Anyway, please post when you can and keep us updated on how you're doing. I'm really glad that you let us know how bad you are feeling.
