It's my last day of worktime play. I thought we had a playdate.

I know... Where is she? Where's my future bride? I'll not have avoidance in a relationship, you know. Did she get caught misbehaving on the job? Does she not like us? Is she jealous of my boyfriend? Where is she???? Oh bother, something more for me to worry about.... But I do indeed miss her....

I missed you more!!
I'm back, I'm outta bed, I'm in work... blah. My 25th birthday is Saturday and I think it's really getting to me. I know I know, 25 isn't old or anything, but this is the first birthday that is really bothering me... weird... I know... but bothersome. I think it's got to do something with being off my mood stabilizer... <sigh> i go to the pdoc tomorrow and see what he says... I have a feeling I'm going to be going on Lithium... and that scares me. Ugh.

Anyways- I'm back and I miss you!!! I'm so sorry I have been away!

Not weird at all - I'm now 27, will be 28 this year, and it creeps me out! 25 was a big deal for me, though not necessarily in a good way, but I am trying to think of it this way - I've survived another year! Amazing, but I survived... :-)

Anyway, happy birthday early!

>I think it's got to do something with being off my mood stabilizer... <sigh> i go to the pdoc tomorrow and see what he says... I have a feeling I'm going to be going on Lithium... and that scares me. Ugh.

Don't let it scare you - my pdoc swears that Lithium is by far the best in the way of mood stabilizers, and I suspect that I may end up on it at some point. He said that it's quite effective and safe as long as you take it properly - he recommends taking it about 1/2 way through a meal, to help with bowel problems it may cause. He also said that he thinks Lithium has gotten a bad rap because people remember old Aunt Mabel who was in the nut house back in the day and she seemed drugged out of her mind - and they connect it to Lithium. He said the likelihood was that it was thorazine, not lithium that made her doped-up.

Anyway - if it works, then it works. and that's a good thing, right?

Again, glad you're back, and glad you're feeling better. You were definitely missed!

Penny you are so nice :) I got a big smile on my face. It's so nice to know I was missed!

You are totally right about the Lithium, when he first mentioned it, I freaked out. Then I start talking to my primary care doc (she worked many years with a Harvard mental illness med experimental study board) and she explained how Lithium was a lot safer than Depakote (which I am now weaned off of). She explained- it's just a salt, and it has some anti-depressant reactions too. I think he's going to but me on WellBurtin first, and then see what happens... I'm not sure yet. I am definitely more open to Lithium now, especially now :) Thanks Penny!

Ok- so I'm not really weird for fearing the big 2-5? My mom thinks I'm nuts- but I remember HER 30th birthday, and she was VERY depressed. Didn't help that the neighbors put a rocking chair in the front yard and a big poster on the front of the hosue that said, "Gin! Oh- No the big 3-0!" and it had a cane stick to it. Yeah, she thought it was really funny, for about minutes, then she got a phone call to open the local newspaper to page 30 and there was a big baby pic of her with "Happy 30th Birthday Ginny Ryder!" oh yeah, that was a fun day in my house.

At least I don't have to worry about my neighbors sabotaging me..... <sigh> 25.... I'm a 1/4 century young :)

I should have known that I can turn to you all and find others that are weird like me :) (jk- we aren't weird- it's those 'normal' people that are weird!) hehe

My 20's have kind of sucked, until last year... things started looking up (at least in the family/love life situations) but I'm trying to convince myself now that 25 will be THE year for a new Angielala :) At least that's my up thought for the next five minutes hahaha

I can totally relate. I guess you are right, we are weird :) i think it is sometimes better to be weird than not. Adds character. ;)

And looking mighty sexy, I might add! And those monkey toes, shew wee! You could use those to wash the dishes and load the washing machine! Now, we'll have no talk of depression I tell you. I prefer not to think of those sorts of things. Out of sight, out of mind.

And there's no way you missed me more than I missed you hun! I missed you the mostest.

So, did you make the bed when you got out of it. I must say, I'd have my old man do that for me. If he refused, that's where the boyfriend comes in. That's what a boyfriend is for. To take care of the stuff that the husband or boyfriend #1 won't do. You must have at least 2 boyfriends at one time, you know. A lady must not worry herself with such things as cleaning the house. A proper lady has many other important things to do. Like applying her makeup, getting beauty sleep, reading a book, filing her nails.... You know, the normal things a lady does. If you are looking for a second boyfriend, I could send mine your way. He's cute and relatively harmless..

Oh yes, I forgot (Imagine that.)

Happy Birthday, early of course....

I'll be 25 this year as well.... I can't wait to be 30!!! Oh, I hope to be stable at 30. I hope to be an adult at 30. I hope to have a suitable husband at 30 (love is optional at 30, at 50 however, love is a requirement!). I hope to be rich at 30. I hope to be perfect at 30.

I'm full of hope. However, my friends just say I'm full of sh**. I prefer hope!

KK- I think if we lived closer, we'd be attached at the hip!

I'm so happy you're out of bed and back on babble.
I have access at night and weekends, without buying a playstation. Hooray!

Workwise, they are on a network, I have free access to the internet, but am afraid I'll be spied on. Then again before they could have spied on me when I had to dial into the server.

Advise me o computer expert.

Hiii! I'm glad I'm back on too :) I missed ya!

Computer expert hahaha, not even close...

Well, any employer could check out where their employees are on the internet... but in reality, that would mean that they'd have to have someone sit, and go through all of these ip addresses and sub ip address and crap- or they'd have to buy expensive software... either way, the only types of companies that do that are high tech-savvy- and they would have to have a reason to be suspicious of you, otherwise, they wouldn't notice anything at all. What type of place are you working?
