I just played wordup. I really do want to eat some Pringles.

I hope I can still internet play during the daytime, that should be a part of jobs you like, not just one's you hate, right?

My husband hogged the PC all weekend, I think he's going to have to find some other amusement, 'cause he may have bought the computer, but I pay the phone bill. So I have internet rights and privileges and I am going to assert myself.

My new boss hasn't called my references, yet. I feel some major anxiety coming on. I keep telling my warped brain that she planned to call them this morning, but she was on vacation last week, and she probably has piles of work that need to get done right away. But I want the job right away! Damn anxiety, come on Paxil kick in.

Don't worry about the references- sometimes a new employer will feel so confident about an interview, that they won't bother with the references.... I know personally how time consuming checking them can be, and I know how often I skipped checking them and just hired :) And you are right, she's swamped- she's got to be after a week's vacation.

I want to give you your own PC :) What does hubby use it for?

Pringles- haha... did you watch the short movie in which he gives away his favorite recipe? :)

I need to divert your attention from thinking about this new job... let's see....

He plays pc games, historical ones, like building the Roman empire or fighting the civil war and the south wins, etc. I wonder if playstation has games that aren't just action- that's all I see advertised on TV. Perhaps I should look into that.

Meanwhile, I will just tell him that babble is important for my sanity. Does he want to deal with out of control anxiety me? Or depressed me? I'll win this war.

I play those types of games myself, actually... and my fiance (Mr. Computer guy- he owns a computer company) bought me a few for Playstation so I wouldn't hog the internet (this was before I got my OWN pc at home- that was a LONG battle!)

Here are some links to those types of games for Playstation:

Civilization II

Civilization III

Warhammer

Rise of Nations

Command and Conquer Generals: Deluxe Edition

If he has a favorite game that you know if, let me know what it is and I'll find it for PS. Hehehe- I'll help you win this one! :)

Perfect!! Haha- he's not going to know what to do when you give them to him, haha. Tell him that the games are much faster, less buggy than the PC games- he'll appreciate that :)
