Could anyone else? Maybe there's enough to go around.
*Nearly* everything that could have gone wrong at work today did. I've got a vicious headache and when I try to lie down and rest the flashing lights and shadows behind my eyelids seem to make it even worse. Which probably means I should break out a Frova. I'm worried about Harry, who seems to be too crabby to be feeling well and is likely to get his head snapped off from attacking my big dog. He's confined to my lap until he remembers she's about ten times his weight.

Forget that cuppa tea. I've always found a nice, giant mug of steaming, boiling tar to be far more relaxing (not to mention its superior "drinkability"), to any variety of tea.

I'm feeling a bit better now. Everything that went wrong during the day at work went right tonight. So I think I'll make my deadline ok, if not in a stellar fashion. And I've got that lack of sleep buzz going. I'll pay for it in a few days.
I think two weeks between deadlines is just *not* enough.

did you see w5 last night? its a canadian show i think...what a crock...
anyhow i hope the head pain goes away completely for you..
have you ever tried wrapping a tenser bandage around your head..quite tightly for about 10 minutes? it works for me sometimes..
my husdand suffers from them(same red lights too)
and he gets relief from a burning shower or throwing up...but his are (so they say)from his bad eye sight,,

Things continue to get better. I polished off the rest of this pile of work, and am getting ready to finish off the next.
I brought Harry in to the vet, and they don't see anything obvious going on but he gave me pain pills in case that's what's causing the crabbiness.
And JYL, don't worry about it. I was relatively certain that we knew each other well enough and had a good enough relationship that everything would be ok. (I hope that isn't presumptuous of me).
