Dinah...and all...

Posted by jay on October 17, 2003, at 21:14:41

Maybe it's too late...but I just wanted to say sorry to the people who I lashed out at over really silly things. Dinah...and sorry if I missed someone, I ask for your forgiveness...even if you can't. You are all great folks who help keep this place 'glued' even during emotional twisters and hurricanes. Often aggression is a sign of unwellness, and that was (and will always be...hope I can make it less..) my problem. No I didn't come out swearing and foaming at the mouth, but I was cold and that just is not me...really. I am argumentative and stubborn, like many of us, but it's learning to draw the lines that counts. Thanks. P.S. Never mind that 'don't post to me' stuff, with me anyways. We aren't living under "Hitler's Reign of Terror", so of course you say what ever you wish.

Sincerely and Best,
Jay

Hi Jay,

I'm always happy for rapprochement, and was saddened by our rift. I suppose we're both people of passionate convictions and aren't afraid to say so, so we're bound to clash from time to time. But I hope we can continue to clash over topics, not personalities.

I'm glad to be able to post to you again. I was sorry not to be able to reach out to someone who was hurting, as we all on this board, and as you seem to be right now (as am I).

I do hope you're feeling a bit better?

Dinah

Hi Dinah:

Sorry I took awhile to get back, but believe it or not, I was even a bit scared to open your response. But, after my thoughts and your usual caring responses, I realized I had nothing to be scared of. The oddest thing is that I am not even "normally" (whatever that means!..heh) much of an aggressive person. It's like, I'll have my odd moment or day, and snap, but then I always come back to "clean up the broken eggs and spilt milk". Time, too, can often be a great healer, and the sad part is we have so little of it here. Now I know living day in and out with these dreaded illnesses seems *too* long of a time also, but when you do get those special moments of "Truth and Beauty", it feels like time is just running away. Last night I held a friend of mine's baby daughter, and just felt like I was in this trance, my senses, the sweet smell and the milky skin of a child felt like I had the entire meaning of life right there in my hands.

Anyhow, I am running off as usual...sorry...but it is *very* important to me, even on something like the internet and our little "babble" community, to try to mend when I let things fall apart. I hope you are as well (as can be...I know), so please take good care.

Best, and sincerely,
Jay
