but there isn't a single soul who can give me one. My family isn't the touchy-feely type and dh and I are on the rocks, which is why I need the hug. I just want someone to put their arms around me and tell me it's all going to be alright in the end.

Tina, I've gotten the impression that you don't feel comfortable talking about this on the board. And I do understand. Is there any way for you to locate a decent therapist within driving range? It sounds as if you're carrying so much, and need someone to help you with some of that load.

Hey girl, I can't promise you that everything will be all right in the end - but I can tell you that you'll get through this, and that you'll be able to build up some sources of non-virtual hugs, and that other things will balance out.
I'm impressed that you asked for a hug - you're a good example for me.

I know exactly how you feel....
Do you have any pets? I've got 9! Sure helps when the depression is trying to kill me off. Pets always love us, no matter what. And those purrs and wheeks (guinea pigs!) cut right thru the pain and surround me with love, just when I need it the most.

Hey there Tina,
Am still putting on the lotto numbers and am very sure one day they will come in! Even though I have the horrors at the thought of flying, I will jump on a plane, head over your way and give you the biggest hug ever!
