Hoho's are always here. Sam's Club, buy bulk.
Got some cool soundproofing around the kit. Looks like a recording studio inside a crack house.
I'm not playing till I get some special headphones. They make the drums sound better, I guess by blocking some frequencies. Pretty incredible. Plus, I've lost hearing faster over the last few years or 30 years of feedback has finally caught up.
My cat is smoking his pipe and reading CatHouse magazine. Embarrassing. Oh crap, now he wants another Scotch and water. "I'm not going to be around forever to get your drinks for you, you know. Jeez, you drink like a fish. No, I'm not going to the store for FISH. OK, give me the GD car keys."

Gotta go...sorry.

"King:" means that Phil has a wheel mouse which accidentally set "language" to Italiano when he posted his message — http://www.dr-bob.org/babble/social/20030326/msgs/214150.html .

Click on "Italiano" at the top of the page to read what he actually typed, or go to http://www.dr-bob.org/babble/it/social/20030326/msgs/214150.html .

Welcome, PamJean :)

Amsterdam. I don't smoke either. I'm sorry, I don't smoke ether. Get those two mixed up.

Certainly PJ knew she would meet some crazy people here. You don't go to the zoo looking for asparagus. You watch her when she get's warmed up. Dollars to donuts she's nuttier than a fruitcake.

Oh PJ, Thursdays are formal here. You know..black tie, designer gowns. If you post in sweats just remember, we've seen every trick in the book.
Also, many here are space cadets. Please don't join them in veering off in all directions from the original thread.
Do you remember the guy on Ed Sullivan that used to keep tons of plates spinning on sticks while not breaking a single one? Well, that's what I'm talking about.

Peace out from Austin. We're just a few, beautiful Texas hill country miles east of Willie's World Headquarters in Luck, TX.
Like Willie says, "When you leave here, you're outta Luck."

Penso che le citazioni del doppio debbano significare la traduzione di arresto (I think that double quotes must mean stop translating).

You and your rapid-fire subject changes never fail to bring a smile and a 'how the heck does his mind do that?' Bet it's effortless, every so often you just start channelling funny Phil, right? You're a true ah-tist, or else your meds are pooping out, I always get those two confused. Big smacky kisses to ya-- and just duck if you're not a big smacky kisses kind of guy.

If I couldn't laugh, I'd bawl my eyes out. Since crying makes me sick for days, it's an easy decision.

Glad I could make you smile. Hope it's not the last time. :-)

Oh, I'm sure PJ *is* nuttier than a fruitcake. I'll just bet she gives us a run for our money, eh, Phil?

Oh, wait, we're space cadets, sick, most of us unemployed, those who have jobs spending every last dime on survival, doctors, and meds. We *have* no money. So she wins by default. No FAIR!!!

But I'll bet she looks really good in black tie . . . . and I'll bet you look really good in an evening gown. Wonder if she realizes that was what you meant? Guess we'll find out.

Austin? As in Tay-has? Yehaw! Let the SRV concert begin! (she says as she plays Stevie albums back to back to back all night . . . I'm sure the neighbors just LOVE me) (doesn't everyone)

Night, kids!!!

Pam, Phil was kidding. No rounds. Dr. Bob does little posting-just to set civility limits, and redirect posts to the appropriate boards, etc. But check out the FAQs--lots of good info about this site and how it works. Also, discussions of policies happen at the the admin board.

Once in a while, though, there is a guest expert that we can ask questions of, and Dr. Bob posts the responses. When that happens, there is an announcement at the top of the page (usually at the meds page--psycho-babble, although sometimes on the psycho-psycho-babble page, which is about psychological treatment).

Things can get heated here sometimes. Mostly it is quite friendly and supportive. But when it gets testy, my advice is not to get too involved. Often, I just skip a thread if it has gotten heated.

Welcome.
