I bust my gut working long hours in a job that I hate with people who I don't really relate to. Sure there are some nice people around, but the whole atmosphere is so stressed I can't thrive. It's all so bitchy. i am so stressed out that I haven't done my opera singing in months. My cat is my only joy and even he dones't get my time.
If it wasn't for my cat and family, I'd be tempted to kill myself. I won't do that because I don't hvae that choice and because I'll always have some hope in my heart no matter how tough things get.
But i'm jaded.
how to cope?
Sorry about hogging the board with questions this week. Just really lost and depressed.

Thanks Bozeman. But I am really sorry about sending that post. Didn't mean that bit about killing myself; I was just extremely drunk and depressed. Needless to say, I didn't go to work today. I spent all day in bed drinking water and gingerale. instad..)
That'll teach me! A bottle of Baileys leaves you with an incredible headache...

It sure does, Alara. Not so much "hung over" in the classical sense but headache from hell.
I am relieved to hear that your "attack" was of the more transient kind. :-) Just trying to lend a ear if one is needed. I'm not up to too much writing these days (too sick to articulate very well) but I still listen.
One of the hardest parts of "depression" for me is recognizing when what I'm feeling is just a mood, and will pass if I let it and don't seize on it, and what's truly a relapse. Hope yours was just a mood and not a relapse.
Still listening if you need it. Hope you feel better (including your head) today. :-)
