Just see what happens I guess.

For Bluedog

Hello Bluedog,
I was wondering why I hadn't heard from you for a few days and happened to notice this thread and the big mess that was going on, here; and so I learned about your leaving the board then coming back. But I'm not really sure if you're back or not. I think you know me by now; I'm not into gossiping; I'm just badly depressed and desperately need your very valued support. PLEASE CONTACT ME ASAP or just look at the posting on the top of this board entitled, "I'm Still A Mess Now."
Regardless of what's going on between you and the others on the social board, I sincerely hope that you will keep in touch with me, Cubbybear. If you're very busy at work now and don't have time for extended posts, then just let me know. But I beg you to please resume contact with me, CUBBYBEAR. I've been badly depressed.

For all of you others who are involved on this thread, I'm very new to Social Babble; I usually post on the regular psycho babble and don't want to appear anti-social to you. I'm just looking for a way to get in touch with bluedog. I am in a totally neutral position regarding what happened with bluedog and the photos. But the timing was terrible for me because bluedog was threatening to quit the board at the same time that I he and I were communicating on a totally different issue and I had no idea of what was going on here. I hope you all can understand this. So in a nutshell, this posting is a plea for bluedog to come back and contact me ASAP because I need him desperately at this very time, and this thread is perhaps the best way I can get word to him. I hope you all can understand what I'm going through.)

I don't think Bluedog has left the board, but if I know he's concentrating on easing back into his job.

It's possible that he hasn't had time to check the boards lately. If that's true, is there any way we can help you until he does? It sounds like you're not feeling well at all now.

Thanks very much Dinah. By way of introduction. . . . for more than four years, I've been living and working here in Thailand(originally from the U.S.)It's a great place to be for someone like myself; but it can also be hell on earth when you're sick and living alone. Sick with what the mind doctors call major depression, on and off for the past 18 years.

Bluedog and I met originally through the regular psycho-babble board, as you know, since our common point of meeting was that he had once used the same medication I'm presently trying. I need on-line friends who fully understand what it's like to suffer from major depression. That's about all I can tell you right now, for starters.

Then you've come to the right place, Cubbybear. Many people here have suffered from major depression, and you can never have too many friends, right?

Just in case you missed it in the long thread above, this is from his most recent post - http://www.dr-bob.org/babble/social/20030111/msgs/35163.html

Well, I seem to have come back at an interesting time. I think all of the nice people should stay and the mean ones should leave. Wow, if only things were that easy...

I'm glad to see anyone posting and am glad that the people here seem to be welcoming me in quickly again. All you guys are great.

Bluedog: Good luck with working again. Someone will no doubt be with you from these boards. I just can't come until noon at the earliest...lol

Take care,

~Tony

Bluedog! I'm over here behind this rock! I can see you. I think Beardy is floating up there somewhere too... can't you sense her?
