Yikes, you guys

Posted by Miller on January 11, 2003, at 7:32:12

I have woken up this morning to read all of the most recent posts. I am so saddened by what is going on. I don't want anybody to leave the board. Bluedog, Beardy, and the others, all within a coupld of days.

I value everybody's imput. I feel like I just walked into a family arguement. All of this bickering and insensitiviy towards each other, I am not understanding.

I just wanted everyone to knoe that I was in a really bad way the other day, yet, I wanted the board to help carry the load a bit. I got that. I was supported and sent messages of encouragement and warmth.

Why is it that, even if we bicker, we can't still work it all oout? If one person were to leave this board permantly (including Tina) people would be devastated. So, I am hoping that the people that are ALL so important to this board will reconsider. Maybe a little time will heal.

To all of you friends that are hurting from the last couple of days: be strong. Realize the feeelings you are having, but get to the real issue of the pain. Then, PLEASE, come back to us.

Howdy, Miller.

This has hardly been a week that will be listed in PSB's greatest moments. Except perhaps for the part near the end when the community made clear its own standards for behavior. Bravo!!! Externally imposed guidelines are better than nothing. Internally imposed guidelines are even better than that.

But more importantly, what is going on with you? I've been concerned by your sudden down turn. It happens I know. :((

maybe it's the january let-down. just because the calendar says january one doesn't mean we have to do better, set goals, achieve. frankly, i like to use january to veg out, blank out, re-group. but i wish i would quit thinking "i can't wait till january so i can get caught up on things" it just aint gonna happen this month.

as far as the hurt feelings, is it pride or betrayal?

I also wish people wouldn't leave. I don't post here all that often, but I get upset to think anyone will leave.

It's such a FINAL thing. I hope the people who do say they're leaving check back - if they do they'll realize how upset others would be to have them leave!

I haven't been around in almost two years. I feel like one of "them." What I did and think others should do too is at least change emails with good friends. This way it would eliminate what seems to be going on presently. May I ask why so many seem to be leaving at one time...?
