for kid A - your cam pix...

Posted by IsoM on January 9, 2003, at 12:46:13

You're going to have to stop including those cam pix of you. Despite my being much older than you & feeling more motherly than anything, my keyboard's starting to gum up from all the drooling I've been doing when I check your pix over. If you insist on posting cam shots of you still, be warned I may need to send you the bill for a new water (or salvia) proof keyboard. ^_^

Sheez, kid, you're one good looking dude! I'd sure do a double take if I saw you in the flesh. And then probably follow discreetly to watch you for a while, hoping not to seem like some pervert stalker.

People can be weird though. I saw a program last night about a guy from Sri Lanka (I think) who had a cleft palate & lip. He had a moustache so it disguised his lip but because of the cleft in his palate, it made certain sounds impossible to make. It mentioned that few could understand him. I think that's lame - I had no trouble. One had to *listen* to him but it wasn't that difficult. He had surgery to correct it at 37 here in Canada finally. Poor guy had to learn how to speak all over again & how to use his tongue on his palate. THAT would be frustrating, I imagine.

it took that cam to be able to talk about myself in the past light that... the words themselves conjour up all sorts of images... i would have never mentioned it otherwise... im locked in thinking this breakable mortal body means more than it does.

btw. send me gifts and i'll show you more. (wink)

omg, i just said that to my e-mommy.

Well, I have little to offer but will list a few possibilities.

How about if you need any help with Kanji characters - I have few Kanji/Japanese guides/dictionaries. It's searchable by the number of strokes & the breakdown of the characters. Also got some animé & game songs as mp3s, but then I'm sure you do too & probably a lot more than me. Have you ever heard Japan X's song "Forever Love"? They've long disbanded, one member's dead now, but that song still blows me away each time I play it. My mp3 of it is recorded at a variable bit rate (forget what right now) & is 19.5 MB so the sound quality is great!

Suggest gifts, dear one, & I'll see what I can do.

oh, isometormega-chan, i could never accept gifts, that would officially place me in the 'cam whore' realm, and i'm doing this soully as an 'attention-whore' ..... :)

i've got more kanji books,cards,15 secrets to learning japanese, learn japanese through manga by mangajin, japanese for everyone (had to get a japanse friend to order the cassettes for me at a cost of 80 dollars) cassetes no less! (im converting them to cd's...) japanese gramar, japanese vocabulary books, a kanji brush, and more anime saved than any normal non anime obsessed person should have (believe me, there are people who have TONS more than me)...

Also, I think there are a few x-japan songs I like, but I think I like Malice Mizer + Glay better, but its been a while...

^_^ <-- anime emoticon

I should've expected you guys to be a bunch of perverts. ^_* (that's an animé emoticon for a wink)

There's much about kid that reminds me of my youngest son, even the way they look & especially their passion about animé & for all things Japanese. And just 'cause kid's a good looking dude means little to me. Looks aren't that important & besides, women & girls tell me my youngest son is drop dead handsome.

All said - I know you guys are joking too, but the idea of me having amorous thoughts about kid are the farthest thing from my mind.

Now I'm confused IsoM! kid_A sez in a post above that he's gettin hitched. How does something like that pass under the radar unnoticed? I was beginning to think it was you but since you've set us all straight I'll go to the source and find out just who the lucky lady is.

I'm quite touched by the friendship that you and kid share. Nothing sleazy or yucky meant there. I really think the two of you are a great match of minds with all your knowledge of the Japanese culture. Always a learning experience to see what one of you has posted regarding some obscure music or text. I inevitably end up going to some search engine to find out just what the heck you two are referring to. Heh.

You were right to expect us to be a bunch of pervs. ^_* back atcha

Hey, I encourage your 'amour fou.'
Please, don't mind us, we'll just stand around and watch...
(How's THAT for 'pervy'?)

In light of the recent postings about the webcam pix, etc., the comment above (posted before Bluedog's) might now be seen to be sarcastic, but it truly was and is not...

OK, "everyone involved"? (can't write to those that are blocked, I don't think, but I will off-line).

Sorry if there's any confusion...

Wendy
