Sorry for flippin' out....

Posted by jay on November 21, 2002, at 23:54:50

I guess, like for many of us, it has become my, errr, 'specialty'..heh. I didn't mean to blow up at anyone, or cut anyone down, in that last thread in which we got talking about a topic I had promised myself I would never pollute this safe haven with...politics. Things have been very nasty in the past few months, and as usual, I end up in a 'manic' break at their worst.

Sigh...
Jay

Hey..have you been naughty?
Well this is a mental health site we all have our moments.
You are forgiven but a good whipping will put you back into shape.
What do you want the peacock feather or cat o' nine tail?

Hey, DreamerGirl,

You are arousing my interest, now. A good, long snappy piece of willow-bark has an especially nice sting...
___________

Jay,

Dreamer is right... We all have moments where it's very hard to stay in control. Sometimes we argue. So what? As long as we don't hold it against each other in the long run, that's the thing.
I believe we know how to get along far better than Bob gives us credit for (but that's *another* topic). It's what happens over time. The development of relationships takes time.... When we feel badly, best thing to do is pull back and then try again later... So you did the right thing, Jay, and I doubt anyone holds a grudge here... Especially when you have the guts to say "sorry, guys."

My best,

Wendy

Of course, Jay. Most of us here have done similar things at one time or another. And it did take courage to post this apology.

Pax,

Dinah
